  3. May I add my 2 cents on older people riding coasters. My grandfather rode The Beast at 75yrs old. I told him, "Grandpa, this is a rough coaster" (I was a little worried) After riding the coaster he comment was, "I was a tank commander in WWII, now that was a rough ride" He told me the Sherman tank had a lot rougher ride, than The Beast ever would be. Sorry guys, I had to share that with you, since my Grandfather is no longer with us. That was about the funniest thing he ever told me. He shrugged off riding, what I thought was a rough ride experience.

  4. Yesterday I went, had a lot of fun, albeit a bit crowded but it was manageable. Got a few back to back rides on Diamondback and felt nice to be back on one again (last one was Ghost Rider). Flight Deck was the favorite of the day for me (it typically is most of the time) In case some of ya didn't know, I always find amusement parks the most fascinating place to do people watching and my word, Math and Science days no exception. Some interesting guests encounters from a guy who never seen or heard of Beast before holler in line "wait it's a wooden coaster?!?!?!?" and was pretty freaked out and a marriage proposal to me in line at Adventure Express Anyway, looks like I'm going back on Monday, so yay. Here are some pictures from yesterday. 5. When I go to a waterpark, I expect to get soaked, and sometimes unexpectedly. The people on the action river that were the most puzzling to me were those that were trying to avoid getting wet. People were covering and hiding their face and even using empty tubes as shields. I made those people my primary targets.

  7. I have a feeling that when Son of Beast DOES begin de-construction, the public will know about it. I also have a feeling that the public will be told about a brand new attraction in the exact same breath. Do I mean another large wooden coaster? No. Do I mean another thrill ride? Not necessarily. "We will begin dismantling SOB in the 20-- offesason, but we have a new attraction for the 20-- season!"

  8. You can use your pass while your making payments, thats the reason they have this option.Like making car payments, you still get to ride it! You can also get in once without processing if the line outside is to long,do it later in the day when its shorter, worked for us.

  12. Got an email from Don about this year's event. Don confirmed that The Racer will once again be the "featured ride" and also said some "new things" will be incorporated, including behind-the-scenes tours and last ride of the night on The Beast. More details are still to come.
