2019 calendar goes live at 8pm!! Edit: Calendar is out: 2019 Calendar and Hours Opening Day is Saturday, April 20 and Preview Night is on April 19 (Good Friday). No new coaster this year, but I still have nightmares about that last Good Friday preview night...

I remember when the new chef came in that the new Juke Box burger was one his big things he promoted before the park opened. It was really good early. And later in the season it wasn’t bad, just nowhere near where it started.

Agree on this as well. The Juke Box burgers were really good at the start of the season, but quickly went downhill.

Yeah, this is our first year with Platinum. We are planning on doing 3 days at Cedar Point early in the summer. Then later in the summer take a week and hit KD and CW. Super excited for all the new coasters this year will bring!! And, of course, many many trips to Kings Island

We will be making our first trip to Carowinds this year. Planning to go down for Friday, March 30 (during spring break), and then make a week trip during the summer, hitting Carowinds for 2 days and Kings Dominion for another couple of days. Super excited for the new coaster as well as getting to ride Fury 325 for the first time ever!!!

I am hoping that Coney BBQ will add corn pudding to their menu for the season. Oh, and maybe I can get to step foot into the Rivertown FreeStyle station on more than 5% of my visits.

I know the date may not have been up to KI...but I'm surprised KI is hosting this on the same day as day 2 of Coasterstock.

Honestly, I would just love to see preview night be for renewing passholders only.

My family had an amazing 2018 season at Kings Island!! It was our 3rd year with Gold Passes, and also our first year with the meal plan. We made 26 visits (coming from 90 minutes away) and had 144 meals, so the cost was well worth it. Our experience with the meal plan was very good. We had a few misses, but most of our meals were hits. We loved the addition of Coney BBQ. Our biggest excitement of the year was that our 9 year old son hit 54 inches over the winter, so Gold Pass night was really exciting, getting to ride the big 4 as a family, rather than having to split up. We also did an overnight trip that weekend and went for our first opening day. The weather wasn't the best, but it sure helped thin out the crowds that day We truly enjoyed "The Greatest Show" fireworks this year, and had a blast walking out each night singing the music from The Greatest Showman. We also experienced our first Tower and WindSeeker fireworks shows. If you have never watched the fireworks from WindSeeker, I highly recommend it!! Overall, the 2018 season was our best season yet, and for 2019 we have Platinum Passes, so we are planning on hitting up Cedar Point, Kings Dominion, and Carowinds....in addition to KI of course Happy new year everyone!!!

This is more of a did. We got off The Racer just now and observed a family having their kids climb over the fence by the troll to get a picture with it. I’m just thinking, “This is why we can’t have nice things.”

We are here. It started really slow but is starting to pick up. Getting fairly busy but just started raining so that may thin the crowd out

We used the mobile order for food at Disney World over the summer, and it was amazing. No waiting in crazy lines. You simply place your order anytime after the restaurant is open. When you arrive to eat, you go in the app and click a button that says you are there. You get a notification in a matter of minutes telling you that your food is ready. There is even a window dedicated to mobile order pickup. And, yes, before anyone comments, I know that Disney and Cedar Fair are not the same caliber of company

Just a thought....with Carnevil closed....could we be getting a Wizard of Oz themed dark ride in there???? Again, just a thought.

Do you mean where they hold everyone outside of the ticket takers, raise the gates, and the monsters and fog all comes out? They haven't done that for a number of years. Last Friday they were letting guests all the way up to the Tower before 6. The "pre-show" was at the band stage rather than up front.

The more I think about this, the more I am afraid it will be The Bat. With the location of the SOB station, which I could see being reused, that portion of the park could be part of the land utilized for a new.....???? Between Firehawk and Bat, I would much rather see Firehawk go.

Agree about CHAOS. After seeing it, I would be happy to have Bored to Death back. I am wondering if they didn't do the skit because of the rain? Also, I didn't realize that Hanks was doing the Mac n Cheese bar during Haunt this year. That will definitely be on my list for next Friday!
