  1. It's likely, but not guaranteed.
  2. About ten years ago I did 21 rides on The Beast. I don't know if I've ever counted since then.
  3. Including Phoenix? That's impressive.
  4. I could really go for a good mapping of survey lines and tree clearing.
  5. I like when enthusiasts debate ejector vs floater airtime. The difference is only in how quickly the forces go from positive to negative. Everything else is subjective to the rider.
  6. I attempted to do what you said in Photoshop, and I just don't see it. To me it looks more "camouflage" that "canyon" between the stripes.
  7. Raven + Legend + Voyage is a pretty tough collection of wooden coasters to beat. Even with a new wooden coaster, Kings Island will still be outclassed by the group that Holiday World brings.
  8. I think most of us are thankful for the change.
  9. So now its confirmed its going to be a rocky mountain.GCI has said their Millennium Flyers can handle inversions. GG added an inversion to Hades. But the masses would say, it could not be a gci with an inversion cause Cedar Fair only uses tried and true methods. They do? That may be accurate for the last couple years, but for 20 years before that it was obviously false.

  11. I sold all my units in Sept 2007. The reason is probably obvious from a NEOhio perspective. I could post more guessing graphics. I'd rather see some proper documentation of the location of surveying points and land clearing.
  12. I just dislike the self-righteous forum vigilante group that can't differentiate between playfulness and entitlement. For what it's worth, I am confident that I would be able to operate a park. I just never pursued it.
  13. Demanding? Nagging? I think there's a significant amount of overreaction going on here.
  14. Which is exactly what I stated. Perhaps you misread?
  15. 1. I didn't see anyone "demanding" anything. Let's clear that up right now. Where did you see "demands" being made? All I saw was playful requests. 2. His salary is paid by the park. The park is paid by guests. Ipso facto, his salary does, in part, come from the paying customers; several of which are on this forum. We don't have specific leverage on how he does his job, but the customer being satisfied is part of his job. [it's part of mine too, and I only have 2 people above me in the company I work for.] Maybe this view of business escapes some people. A business only thrives if the customers are happy.
  16. And television viewers crossing their fingers when their team is soooo close to winning doesn't change the outcome either; but it makes them feel better. Seriously, why does it bother you?
  17. Right, because a few "hey, more teasers please!" is the same as picketing his front lawn demanding equal twitter time?
  18. Correct. But he does pay attention to some of the conversation here. Otherwise, explain this: https://twitter.com/KingsIslandPR/status/739867583600590848
  19. Well, in a sense we pay part of his salary, so there's that angle.
  20. It was posted a few pages back. http://cagisonline.hamilton-co.org/cagisonline/index.html Has anyone else mapped locations of markers and clearings? I'd love to but as I'm 4 hours away, I'm not sure when my next trip down will be.
  21. I think there's why. We have a different scale. That double section of track is 22' wide. 2 8' gaps, and 3 2' posts. The abutment "boxes" are 24' wide. Makes a 10% difference in sizing. Mine may be 22' as well (I was going off memory), but how long is your station and transfer shed? I have mine at 56' and 67'
  22. I believe that they would expand Rivertown to the area closer to the new ride and WWC if they go that route. It's really looking like other area modifications will be made. I just don't know if it will be the train, the log ride, or WWC, or none of the above. I plotted the area of work to scale and rotate the ride. We have a pretty good idea of how much land that center strip takes up, with those plans being right on 20' wide. You can see that section in black on my images.
  23. That last image in my previous post has it over the photo then under the midcourse. I doubt they would dig too close to existing foundations, though.
  24. Here's the last couple I looked at... again, assuming the scale and orientation match the plans we saw at city hall.
