I concur with you on Millennium Force. However, I respectfully disagree on Voyage, my favorite coaster out of 132 riddenIt definitely has negative g's with it's 20 plus seconds of airtime! I also feel solid laterals on it. Now pacing, maybe I can see your beef there. To me it's like being on a bucking bronco and you might not feel like you're really traveling in any particular direction. It's just chaos, especially the second half. I'm different than most coaster fans in that I like Legend better than Raven. Wow... that is exactly my opinion! I like Legend better than Raven also and The Voyage is my #1...."Its a Small World After All" I like Legend better than the other two and Millennium Force is my #1...

I don't think a wing coaster is a stretch. A stand-up is probably unlikely.

That doesn't make any sense I agree, however it has been many, many years since sophomore year geometry. If the earth is a perfect sphere then all points on the surface are equidistant from the center. Maybe the earth is not a sphere and is fatter at the equator. The earth is in fact, not a sphere, and bulges at the equator. It is actually about 20km further from the core to the equator than at the poles.Also, Kings Island was built as a full size park, where Cedar Point grew to the current size. Of course it will be "planned" out better.

Even if they were the same, Mason being closer to the equator makes it further away from the center of the earth, or "above" the distance from Sandusky to the core.

Do you think they are loading trains quickly enough for that to matter? The shed was halfway between the two lifts, so it would allow for faster dispatches than putting a block right next to the 2nd lift, which is already a block.

I'd rather have a GCI than a wood/hybrid Maverick. It's not even in my top 5 at CP.... And because the question always comes up, I was using the "CP Maverick" name since late '99. It has nothing to do with the ride.

When I first saw the steel beams, I immediately thought they were for site work (retaining wall, etc) - not ride construction. I just wasn't saying anything. You can't seriously compare coasters between the two parks fairly. What equivalent criteria are you using? Why compare Vortex to Corkscrew and not Rougarou? Why compare Diamondback to Magnum and not to Millennium Force? Why compare Racer to Blue Streak and not Gemini?

But what benefit does it provide?
