I'd second this. That's would make the KI Giga unique and different.

In 2014 Tony Clark Tweeted out CP's things to do list. Which in turn looks like it was CP's 5 year plan from 2015-2020. Things that were on the list were 1. New trains from Mantis. 2. Go over 500ft. 3. Call RMC 4. Call GCI 5. Get Aqua-Trax 6. Coaster over Lake Erie. 7. Fix Waterpark & Hotel i couldn't find the tweet where it's an older tweet, but Coaster Net-Uncut goes into detail about this on their YouTube channel. I'm sure he knows exactly what CP has planned. Most of the things he tweeted out are coming true or happening right now. Now obviously there are a couple of those that are Red Hereings like the Coaster over Lake Erie & possibly the 500 foot coaster & Auqa-Trax. But for him to tweet out something like this and have so much of it come to fruition makes me believe he knows exactly what CP is putting in.

I never said that he said they were getting a large coaster. He said it was gonna be something very big. It very well could be a huge celebration, it could be nothing at all "which I highly doubt". They will have 2 years to do it because of the 2 year 150th celebration. But this is Cedar Point & they have a major hole in the coaster line up, a very nice wooden coaster. As I said earlier I'd be shocked if CP doesn't add a new major wooden coaster during the 2 year celebration of the 150th anniversary.

Tony Clark did. He said CP was getting something big in 2020 & that the 150th anniversary will be a 2 year celebration. It could be a red herring sure, but I don't think it is.

That would be a great location to. I just want to see them use the Crypt building for something. It's set vacant for so long, other than Haunt.

It's possible, but I'd be shocked with KI opening a Giga in 2020 with CP also getting something for their 150th anniversary.

I love to see KI get a Wild Mouse and put it in the Crypt building. Theme it out like Exterminator at Kennywood so we would also get the dark ride experience as well. That would be amazing!!! Honestly though I think we will get a couple flats, which I think would be great. Another thing I think that is sorely needed is another Splash Landing in Soak City. It very sub-par compared to a lot of other parks. Holiday has 2 that are amazing. Cedar Fair has a perfectly good one sitting at Geauga Lakes Wildwater Kingdom. That would be a cheap but effective investment for Soak City. I'm wondering if Cedar Fair is just gonna scrap? I hope not.

How crowded is the ERT normally?

I voted no & none. I'd really hate to see Kings Island result to VR!!

I think if Kings Island is ever gonna get an RMC it would have to be a ground up woodie. I also think it's possible that if Vortex is ever sent to the scrap yard you could possibly see a T-Rex fit in its footprint.

I've been to the park 9 times this year, all on random days. It's been pretty crowded every time I've went. But I haven't had many issues getting on the rides. Lines haven't seemed to bad. Seems to be a good thing for the future of the park & future expansion.

I know, I just didn't want to get anyone in trouble. I left the situation alone once we were able to get on. This is the only time something like this has ever happened to me. The kid def needs some work.

I bought my kids the Kings Island lisence. My son is has met the 48 mark and my daughter has met the 36 mark. We've had no issues in Planet Snoopy but I had an issues at Mystic Timbers. The kid at the front wasn't gonna let my son on. He said no way is he 48. Showed him the KI lisence and my sons purple 48 inch wrist band & he still wasn't gonna let him on. He wasn't even gonna measure my son until I showed him the pic of my sons on-ride photo of Mystic Timbers. Finally he measured him and we got on. But I don't see why I've got to go through the hassle of that when I took the proper precautions & got my children the KI license.

I've been to Kings Island 7 times this season. With the types of crowds we're bringing in I think we need a people eater. I wouldn't complain one bit if we got a ride like Maverick or Helix. I would love it!!! But I think the park will put capacity near the top of the list & a B&M Giga is a true people eater. Only time will tell but I'd think that with the success of Fury & the large crowds KI brings in it would be a match made in heaven.

A new maze and scare zone would be nice.

Did anyone else notice guest speaker Lance Heal, Kings Island entertainment manager was speaking on day one of Coasterstock he said something was going to be retired following the 2017 season. My guess is a show but I honestly have no clue. I'm sure most of you guys have more insight than I do. What are your thoughts?

Do they not do the Turkey Legs anymore? I use to love them. I always seen the stand last year but it was never open.

Those are valid points. Having ridden Millie, I-305, & Fury I'd prefer a B&M like Fury. These are the only Giga's I've been on. I've never made it to Canada. If Intiman did get the shot at a Future KI Giga I would hope they'd add a little more intensity than Millie. I love Millie to.

I never thought anything was going to CP, this year anyways. I agree with your CGA comments & I think Worlds of Fun could be in line for Kanonen from Leisberg which is a Intiman ride. But I don't see how any of the relates to what I was wondering in the beginning. If CF renewed with Intiman would KI's rumored Giga come from them since there is already an Intiman Giga in state or would we have a better chance at a B&M. That's the main thing I was curious about & wonder what everyone else thought.

Never said he was teasing for another park, I think he's feasting for Cedar Fair as a whole.. Cedar Fair did say that they were renewing their relationship with a pervious manufacturer. Jason does work for Cedar Fair, & maybe he's hinting at CP's future. I just find the timing ironic after the Cedar Fair quarterly conference call.

Jason from CP may be trolling. I def don't think CP is getting a Intiman along with an RMC. Now 2020 is a different story. I could see CP getting a Intiman then.

Well Jason McClure from CP just posted this picture tweet a few hours ago. If they are not pulling our leg do you guys think that the rumored KI Giga would be from Intiman? It would be great for KI if it was because we don't have an Intiman. But I'm not sure CF would put an Intiman Giga at KI because MF st CP. I feel they may not want 2 Giga's that close from the same manufacturer. That's why I think B&M would still have a great shot at making the Giga for KI. Regardless this is a win win for us enthusiasts if this picture tweet from Jason McClure is true. What do you guys think?
