I hope they connect the area with X-Base and spuce the area with some flats, eateries, restrooms, etc... I really hope the centerpiece of this expansion would be a world record breaking Giga.

^^ Very true, but it's not impossible to have just as many coasters as CP. KI isn't far behind in that category now.

Today I lost my wallet which had 3 Platinum passes in it. I do however have my passes downloaded on the KI app. I was wondering can you scan your phone at the parking entrance where I would normally scan my card or do I need to go to a gate with a person in it? Also do you guys know if I can scan my card at the for FunPix. Sorry is this is posted anywhere else & thanks for your help.

Just curious as to why threads are locked and not just deleted? Someone just started a topic about what comes after a Giga and it got locked. Why not just delete the whole thread? Anyways just curious as to why threads are up that you can't post anything in.

I've been on Dominator at Geauga Lake and KD, well it was actually Batman Knight Flight when I rode it at Geauga. I also have done X-Flight/Firehawk while at Geauga and KI. I'd def take Dominator of Firehawk. But I've only 3 Floorless coasters Dominator, Rougarou, & Kraken & I prefer Dominator out of those 3.

I wish Dominator & Firehawk traded spots when the were relocated from Geauga Lake

That's kind of the feeling I have to. I know Kings Island wins the the Golden Ticket for best kids area, but CP has a lot more to do between Camp Snoopy, Planet Snoopy, & Kiddie Kingdom. So I'm holding out hope, lol. If they don't do it I'll buy her a KI gold pass because I've already registered her for the Pre-K pass at CP & KD. My wife, son, & I all have Platinum passes. But since the 2 parks I'll attend besides KI next year have the Pre-K pass, I'm just gonna get her a Gold Pass for KI if they don't end up doing it. Fingers crossed, lol

I wonder if KI will also add the Pre-K pass? I hope they do.

I'm curious as to what people would like to see come before a Giga. Personally I'd like to the the Giga come first, but I agree that KI doesn't need one right away. If I had to choose a coaster or 2 that would come before a Giga they would have to be a Mack Multi Launch & an RMC woodie. Id love to see KI invest into a Mack Multi Launch like Helix or Blue Fire. KI also has some awesome terrain in the back of the park for an RMC woodie similar to Lightning Rod"doubtful" minus the Launch, I'd be ok with a traditional lift. But personally I'd pefer the Giga over these 2 coasters, but that just me. What you guys like to see come before a Giga if this is indeed the case?

I've been saying this ever since I seen the T-Rex design. I think it could be the perfect replacement if Vortex ever leaves.

I've thought for awhile now that if they ever decide on replacing Vortex that an RMC T-Rex would fit in that footprint nicely. I don't think KI would receive an I-box conversion, I think a ground up woodie would be more likely. But I think RMC is at least 10 years away from being at KI. I could always be wrong, I just don't see it right now. CGA and Canada's Wonderland both could use the I-box conversion as well as Carowinds.

I know Mack could do a Giga but have only done a few Hypers. But I'd like to see KI get a Mack Giga. It looks like Intiman is out of the Question since they weren't the renewed Cedar Fair relationship.

Hopefully we find out soon if Kings Island is going to get this. I want to buy my families 2018 season passes but I'm going to wait and see because my daughter turns 3 in January.

Isn't Tower Gardens & the Carousel on the back side of that building? If so, maybe there really is something to the Antique Cars coming back along with a new restaurant.

It could also be Mack. Mack has been around way longer than Intiman and are way more reliable. I believe most American parks stay away from Mack because they are a lot more expensive than Intiman. I've seen a lot of reviews on Taron the Intiman Blitz. People say it's a good fun ride but nowhere near as forceful as Maverick. Now the review of Helix at Leisburg is a Mack multi launch, their version of the Blitz. The reviews are the exact opposite. A fun forceful ride. Now take this with a grain of salt. I watched the reviews on YouTube but they were well known enthusiasts channels.

I've made a couple trips down to Carowinds over the past 2 seasons. I've got arounds 50 laps on Fury & Intimidator and I can tell those 2 rides feel nothing alike. Fury has great intensity, Intimidator does not. Both are good rides, but I think to many people compare B&M Giga's to B&M Hypers. And yes I know B&M technically has to classify their Giga's as Hypers. I'd be happy if we got an Intiman Giga. I love the 2 I've ridden. But I'd bet CF will want a B&M at KI and the Intiman at CP. I'd like to see MACK step up and do a Giga for KI. That's means for the time being KI would have the most unique Giga in the chain. But my money will be on B&M. Also they could save a little bit of money and possibly make the ride bigger with the B&M plant being 20 minutes away. That's gotta help on the shipping costs.

I was at Worlds of Fun last week. They don't have FunPix. So I bought a few photos of the family on our first trip to that park. When I showed the workers my FunPix account they were amazed & hopeful that it makes it to a Worlds of Fun. I guess I just to FunPix for granted. It's at all the Cedar Fair parks I go to KI, CP, KD, and Cwinds. Going to Worlds of Fun really made me appreciate FunPix a lot more.

I was at Silver Dollar City last week and they had already started hanging their lights as well.

How do you guys interpret this? To me it clearly looks like MACK is saying they can go well over 200 ft. "200 ft and higher seems like they can do it to me" What are your thoughts?

I wonder why Kings Island just don't put the Coney Mall sign back up. I've seen so many people clamoring for this. It would been one of the cheapest things they have ever done IMO. Plus the positive feedback they would get from this would be priceless. They amount of people this would please is huge. I just don't know why they don't put it back up. In the grand scheme of things this would be pocket change for KI.
