I loved it! Rode it about 7 times this weekend. I don't get the complaints about the shed. I think it was done well. This is in my top 5. The park hit a grand slam with this ride.

BI went back to my hotel. The radar doesn't look good. I still had a great time. I hope to do it again next year.

I absolutely wouldn't go by what it says. The chance is only 50%, which could mean not at all. And it's not saying all day.

Sorry for starting this weird discussion, but as you can probably tell from my avatar and my profile, I really like the Goodyear Blimp. Has it ever flown over KI or do you have any pictures of it? I was at Cedar Point one day when it flew over and that was quite a sight to see! How did I not implode? LOL. And if you see someone at Coasterstock this weekend with a Goodyear Blimp t-shirt, it's me!

I wish they still used the purple coloring in it. I only tried it for the first time last year with blue and white, and it was amazing! I'll be getting some this weekend!

Cedar Point classifies Pipe Scream, the same kind of ride as a roller coaster, where KI does not. Personally, I don't consider those kind of rides as a roller coaster. I think CP just does it so they can add one to their coaster count.

Only 2.5 more weeks to go! Can't wait!

I like BLSC, so I wouldn't be happy if it were removed. I never visited the park pre-CF, so I don't know what it was like before them.

Bins are disappearing from ride stations. CP has been not putting bins on new rides and some have been removed that previously had bins. I would expect other parks to follow suit. But I never bring anything that would need to be stored. I never bought that annoying souvenir bottle for that reason since after you pay for lockers, you really don't save any money. That new season drink plan is great!

I look forward to riding this at ERT during Coasterstock.

It doesn't say anywhere that you can't use it at Freestyle. I bought it with the intention of using it there. I'll be upset if the plan isn't valid there. It would stupid not to since you can use the bottle there. That post you referred to, the guy was thinking that they would not allow you to use it there, but was surprised that you could.

Yeah, someone over on PointBuzz pointed out that it's cheaper to get it through CP. But that's my home park anyway.

I didn't know where else to post this, but since this thread is recently active I just thought that I would share that a few other parks got new websites today such as Carowinds and King's Dominion. It looks like KI hasn't got one yet, but likely will be soon.

I just bought mine this morning from the CP website. It was $34.80 after taxes and fees. You only need to get about 6 drinks for it to pay for itself. But at WCO last week, Tony and Jason really stressed the price subject to change part. So if the price jumps, you'll wish you bought it sooner. Yes the fee is annoying, but I would hate to regret not buying it sooner when they start adjusting the prices.

I will definitely be getting this. During the announcement it said pricing is subject to change, so I would get it early before the price jumps. The plan goes on sale March 1st.

You should be able to scan your card or season pass at the photo stations and get your photos. I was able to get my FunPix at Coastermania last year.

Since my first visit will be Coasterstock, it will likely be Banshee.

This is just my opinion, but I would make the drive Wednesday night and just rest up on Thursday. I did Carowinds and Coastermania at CP in the same week last year and one of those days in between was being on the road several hours. The day after Coastermania, I was about ready to fall over dead. I tried to go ride a couple coasters the day after CM, but I just wasn't feeling it. I was exhausted and ready to head home. I wish I could leave earlier for CS, but the others in my group don't get out of work until 4, and we have a 4 hour drive. I hope to get down there by 10PM so I can rest up the night before.

This. But I only go to KI once a year, I hope to squeeze in a second visit this year. But I'll get in my fill of rides at CS. Although, I go to CP many times a year and I know that if I don't go on a particular ride one vist, there's always next time. Just think about 99% of other guests in the park with you don't get to go as much as you.

Since HW closes at 4, why not drive toward KI that night? That would be much better than leaving at 4AM to get to CS. My bad, I thought you were heading to KI the morning of CS, but you said Thursday and CS starts Friday, so that could work.

Even 3 months seems kind of fast to build a restaurant. Although, I haven't been following that too much and don't really know the details of it. If it's just a walk-up type of place then that would make sense, or if it's a fast-food type place I suppose it could be done. But, buildings go up fast these days.

That's fast to build a restaurant! Usually I think they would start that sooner.

On Tony's blog post yesterday, someone asked in the comments if the other parks would be getting new sites, and he answered "Mayyyyyybe". With a company the size of Cedar Fair, there's absolutely no excuse to have a site that doesn't work on phones. Especially when being able to access the site on your phone while at the parks could actually help you out. And not everyone wants to use up data or storage space on their phone to download an app.
