  1. On ride photos may catch some of those lol, guess they could cut out those people same as when certain gestures are made. "No ride photo for you buddy" Unless they follow the Universal water ride requirement: being allowed to take them off is not until restraints are in place and checked.
  2. Per Worlds of Fun Platinum holder reservations will be limited per park NOT to the CF chain combined. So can hold multiple places at the same time.
  3. On the screen shot, it was grabbed when the group was still moving forward. It only shows that people will get within 6th of each other while moving through not while standing at the markings themselves.
  4. Symptoms usually appear 2-14 days after exposure, I don't know where you are getting the 2-3 weeks from.
  5. So what day do YOU have reserved and how did you get access already? I won't say it'll be okay or not okay wearing a mask in the park as I'm the only one in my family that has to wear one for work. There IS concern about how much the husband and kid will tolerate, even though both have agreed they'll do what's necessary. We'll have to pace ourselves, and be more mindful of staying hydrated but it's not the worst thing in the world to deal with. Start getting attitudes in the park though and we're out for the visit.
  6. From my understanding passes will be able to be processed through the app soon.
  7. Interesting reading on the World's of Fun FAQs if anyone plans to head that way Includes 1 reservation day at a time for passholders. Will need to enter Season Pass number when reserving a day, reentry will be allowed but have to go through temp and bag check again. Resort guests will be given an entry instructions and time at check-in. Seems like they have covered quite a few questions that may be brought up in general. https://www.worldsoffun.com/welcoming-you-back/frequently-asked-questions
  8. Worlds of Fun has a pdf. also, so KI may put one out sooner or later https://cdn-cloudfront.cfauthx.com/binaries/content/assets/wf-en-us/general-information/covid-19/wof---welcoming-you-back-guide.pdf
  9. Yesterday vs today just on one seating area. Hopefully combined with the limited capacity will keep seat availability fairly balanced.
  10. That's what I'm hoping for too. We don't know how often they plan coaster wipe downs which could consume alot of time, but it'll all work out and have it's own rhythm after a bit.
  11. Believe Disney had specified tie behind or earloop style were required, so husband figured needed some of those just in case. Don seems to give the best news lol
  12. I'm more nervous to get the July 2nd reservation cause we'll already be over for Orion event. Husband has been waiting on cloth masks that tie behind head to be delivered for 47 days now, we have have neck gaiter style right now, hopefully those would be acceptable.
  13. @collin.klopfstein check your email, Orion First Rider update, congrats on the top 32 BTW
  14. So CP Hotel Breakers reservation is July 10th-16th, I will be guaranteed entry starting the 11th, but can also attempt a reservation for the 10th. But is Hotel Breakers going to be open for the 9th & 10th or am I going to get canceled?
  15. I can't wait to see ops again. If you happen to have a little girl offer an "air hug" that's my daughter lol
  16. Out of the approx 20 people I talk to daily and take breaks with maybe 3 were aware of Orion, and only 1 of them is hoping to ride "sometime". Even when they started the First Riders event people didn't know anything about a new KI ride until I had told them. So at least from my experience the marketing seems to be lacking. I don't think I've ever seen a KI commercial here either and I'm just over in Seymour.
  17. Can anyone confirm this to be true from other sources? This is the first article I've seen that implies not all the ride inspectors were furloughed as previously thought. https://www.dispatch.com/news/20200608/coronavirus-how-can-ohio-amusement-parks-reopen-with-some-state-ride-inspectors-laid-off
  18. Indoors is a bit of a break from the heat, so while Hurricane Bay is closed it's not much relief.
  19. 11yo noticed they moved the picnic tables by the Character Carousel
  20. Just random questions since park isn't open that have poped into my head: Do inspections get done before or after ride ops training? Can employees take their breaks anywhere in the park when it's closed or have to go to break areas? Do they have music going? Who's been feeding the fish in the Oktoberfest pond?
  21. Looks like the Character Carousel was going for a spin a bit ago.
  22. No firm dates. Schlitterbahn "mid-June". Chance of some dates announced this week for Texas and Missouri. Seems like they are looking to have a few park date announcements at the same time to avoid overcrowding.
