I though you meant that the floats would be coming from the red buildings behind racer. And the reason that wouldn’t cause the removal of the arch is because those floats would have to go under The Racer which has a smaller opening then the arch had.

Anyone else notice there’s often times only one employee at the register at the new restaurant? Guessing it’ll be better staffed once the summer season kicks in.

I always run into the same problem as you, none of my friends ever want to ride Drop Tower so I end up riding it by my self. Anyways glad you had a great time at Kings Island!

WatchOS is still a very limited operating system, I don’t know they could do much with an app on there. I’d rather them accept Apple Pay which I’d use way more often with my watch.

If they were to retheme fof (Like several users here have suggested) then the new name seems totally reasonable.

I saw someone suggest they filed two because they’re both so basic they could get rejected so they chose to file two Incase one gets rejected. Maybe one of the names could be the name of a large flat ride also if they choose to expand the area?

1. There’s so many things that have been stated that give a giga coaster almost complete certainty in my opinion at this point, I’ll list a few - Mike’s Statements, Notice of commencement, the giga track, the land clearing & Cedar Fairs trends / History. I say the final nail in the coffin will be 1 of two things, if the clearing grows any more or a backbone footer is poured. 2.The names certainly do seem like a logical and reasonable fit for X-Base, and since at the moment only Kings Island has major land clearings I’d say one of those names is bound for Kings Island 3. A new coaster / major addition is almost certainly coming in the near future (The land clearing and the notice of commencement practically confirm it) the only debate is when it’ll be built but once again the Notice of commencement suggest that the attraction should start to take shape in 2019 and be finished in 2020. Of course this could all change at any given moment but at this point it looks like Kings Island will receive a Bolliger & Mabillard giga coaster that would be set to open in 2020.

In regards to light packages I hope they do what fury did and have the Lift hill be light up by a light strip, looks so cool at night.

If you truly think Kings Island isn’t on the map let me ask you this, when ever Kings Island does anything (The Clearing, Renovations ect) does it get a lot of attention online? Nearly everything Kings Island did this off season received a decent amount of attention online. The Beast prints for example received a large amount of attention on various sites (Like Reddit) even thought they’re a bunch of paw prints.... Now compare that to a park like CGA that redid several ride signs, repainted the Drop Tower ect, did you see a lot of attention on that? No not really. Sure any park can get attention from a roller coaster but the parks on the map get attention for nearly everything they do. What? Kings Island has plenty of good coasters 4 of which I’d argue would be in CP’S top 8. But honesty who cares? Kings Island already has a great collection, the notion that Kings Islands line up is severely lacking a major roller coaster is complete nonsense. I’d rather take Kings Islands atmosphere over Cedar Points coaster line up any day.

Maybe they’re planning on expanding the maintenance roads? I noticed today the maintenance road right next to The Beast during the hill after the first lift hill looks like it might be expanded or rerouted.

^ I guess it’s probably just normal utility maintenance.... if theoretically the coaster went out there (Which I know it wouldn’t) that’d be really really really cool and massive.
