I haven’t ever payed much attention to the ride as I’m more into the coasters but wouldn’t they paint top to bottom? So the cream is what is getting replaced with the brown?

I me I guess I could be wrong. I don't recall it being anywhere near that bright, even on the widest variety of days.

I don’t think it was anywhere near that bright last year but I have no proof. If you watch one of the drone videos on YouTube it is by far brighter paint than everything else which makes me think newer

Our Drop Tower has been repainted. Here is some hope they do Diamondback as well. Maybe make The Beast more red like it used to be too...

Sadly it doesn’t look like we will be getting a big Banshee or steel vengeance sign for Orion.

The fence is present around all low points of the ride to ensure rider and outside safety. This is a common practice on tons of rollercoasters. Notice of the fences only surround the troughs of the ride.

That drop headchopper looks amazing in this pic. Yes I know, it is the wrong angle to get a good idea of what it will actually feel like but darn that's cool. Also the first and blue track have an amazing contrast. Personally, I think they left the paths for two reasons 1) Maintenance and 2) Making future expansion easier. Expanding to the other side of Orion brings land into play and brings your big ride into a more centralized, impressive view. Talking like 2030 for that much expansion though.

Oh right lol. That’s pretty interesting. If the Orion speculation thread was locked at how many years it was open, that ride is gonna be there a very long time

Yes less snappy but it is physically in the element longer. And I guess not less snappy inherinitely depending on how quickly it banks. It also banks more than the other picture.

Much larger and it stays in the element a lot longer. Basically everything about it is bigger.

I can feel the vibrations in my teeth lol. Crazy how some of the elements look and how they feel when on it.

I would be surprised if they tested moving trains. Maybe brake testing. Seems too early, imo, for any sort of vehicle testing.

If we are going launch I’d rather go intamin with a beyond vertical drop. That start to maverick has you standing up in your seat. Especially compared to the catastrophe that was west coast racers. Not opposed to any of the three but that is my preference.

This is some great info and I really appreciate the help! I’ve been to Carowinds but it was before copperhead was there and my friend has never been so we will have to see but that is definitely an option. I will also have to look into six flags America as I don’t know much about it but maybe we can get cheap tickets? And yeah the Pennsylvania area is petty solid too. May have to consider that as well as it is probably a bit closer. I will check out your site and really appreciate the work. Would going to BG: W be much better on a Friday for getting rides in? Or is it pretty busy all the time. Thank you!

Hello Folks, A friend and I are really into rollercoasters (as many of you here are) and we wanted to take a trip around late April to late May. My friend is moving out of town soon and we wanted to do something fun. Anyways, we definitely wanted to spend like 3 days going to 3 different parks. I was thinking the Virginia area because there is a lot of parks around there and BG: W seems like a must hit. We currently reside in Columbus. We would probably go like Friday-Sunday. Is there any other parks we must go to? And tips you guys have? Any and all information is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hopefully not. Vortex’s spot should roughly keep the same feel and I feel like monster trucks would require a lot of change. Plenty of room to the side of Orion and DA for them.

Gotta think we have a few weeks before any sort of testing.
