  1. In the rendering, the train hauls over the big hill. I think you'll get some serious ejector on it. Unless it was sped up in the rendering, I think it may just be one of the strongest airtime moments.
  2. Sadly, I live an hour and a half away from KI. We don't go that often, but we go at least 3-5 times a year. This year will be much more since I am getting my first gold pass. Now we will be going around 3 times a month this year.
  3. I think this is why they are speeding up so much. I'd say when they were starting they would pretty much do one piece per week. This is now like two elements per week!
  4. No. Just wondering. I don't want Maverick to be torn down if you're asking, because if it does, I may just start a riot.
  5. Quick question. What would you do if Maverick were torn down and scrapped?
  6. Yeah I agree. They could have the helix done or even the banked airtime hill near the end of the month. That speed hill is going to give insane air! And from the looks of the rendering, you are going to fly over that airtime hill.
  7. Wow. One of the girls flew out and hit the railing. Surprised she survived.
  8. The turnaround is almost done is they are about to do the speed hill.
  9. That speed hill might be one of the greatest airtime moments. It's my most anticipated part tied with the drop.
  10. Kind of forgot about Iron Gwazi, but Pantheon is right behind Orion at #3 in my top new for 2020 list. Iron Gwazi is at first and Orion is at second. Sorry Maverick
  11. I don't see how people find other coasters being opening this year to be more exciting. Who doesn't love a 85 degree 300 foot drop with possibly more airtime moments than fury?
  12. What do they use to make the renderings anyways?
  13. Psst...hey...runners of Cedar Point...SuCk An EgG... If you think about it, we've actually broken more impressive records than CP. CP basically is obsessed with breaking record in height, and pretty much only height. We've got unique, impressive, one of a kind records, like the longest wooden coaster/longest roller coaster in America.
  14. Been there done that for about 5 years.
  15. Can't look at the cams. On a school computer.
  16. I swear all of the track work might be done by the end of February or even January if they keep this up
  17. Has anybody noticed that it says the project in quotations near the top right?
  18. Was everyone this excited when Diamondback was announced like people are this excited for Orion?
  19. I would like to address a very underrated coaster. Python at Coney Island. Even though it is defunct, I would like to honor it. Experience: 4 It is a very fun coaster. There is surprising ejector and fun laterals, and the bumpiness gives it a nice vintage feel. Layout: 1 The only reason I am giving it one point is because of the airtime in the layout, but the layout is very basic. Capacity: 3 The capacity is fair. It is 2 and sometimes 3 train ops. They get the passengers on and off very quickly which makes the line short and plus the ride is short which makes it even better. Theming: 0 There is absolutely no theming at all besides the trains being snake shaped and the sign having a snake in it. You can’t really theme a pinfari very much as well, and coney island is a small amusement park that doesn’t have any theming throughout, so it gets a zero for me. Restraints: 5 The restraints are amazing. They are cushioned metal bars, so they are comfortable in my opinion. The seatbelts are very loose, and you feel not that safe with the restraints, which gives you tons of strong airtime. Total score: 13/20 or 65% The main reason for this not being higher is the theming. Overall, it is a very fun and violent family coaster with tons of insane ejector and good laterals. If I had a personal score, it would be 4/5 because of the theming. I sure hope the ride stays alive at another park so I could ride it again, and if it does open up again, I recommend it.
  20. Hate to burst you bubble, but I could see that happening. Kings Island may not have as many coasters as Canada’s wonderland, but it still gets the better attractions, and I could see it get a Forbidden Frontier like area.
  21. I think in 2021 CP should get one of those Chance Rides Hyperlites or a Chance Rides family coaster like slime streak that opened this year.
  22. I am fairly sure they will be celebrating more with more additions in 2021. But we have to wait for that.
  23. Cedar Point has announced their 2020 additions. First up is the Lifetime Ticket. CP is doing a bunch of drawings where people can get a CP ticket that will let them into CP for free for the rest of their lives! That's awesome! Snake River Expedition is a new boat ride where riders will experience a one of a kind adventure with Trapper Dan! It will be a fun boat ride where you can experience things you can't experience at most theme parks. Celebrate 150 Spectacular will be a celebration that will happen every night, with cool floats, food, music, and other fun things! There will be a new town hall that will feature all of the park's history. https://www.cedarpoint.com/play/events/150th-anniversary More details on the link above!
  24. I would LOVE that! They would add more to the record! Especially one like a prefab or one of those hybrid gcis. But too bad Intamin isn't making pre-fabs anymore.
