We are a family of three but the app only allows me to complete the health screening. If I choose the other two passes there is no way to do it. Edit: In the faqs it says per group. Hopefully when I scan the other two passes tomorrow it won't trigger something in the system.

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
coaster sally replied to Hawaiian Coasters 325's topic in Kings Island
We went to branson and Gatlinburg recently. The only place we felt comfortable was at silver dollar city and Dollywood. While it wasn't perfect, overall 95%+ wore masks correctly. Outside the park no one wore masks or social distanced. Gatlinburg was wall to wall people. I wear a mask in public but on the trip I refused to unless at a park. My reasoning is if no one will protect me, I won't protect them. Holiday World & Indiana Beach is crazy. I will not attend those parks probably ever again based on their irresponsibility. Even Waldamere and Kennywood is going to require masks. -
Hopefully they will learn from other parks and have a ride host or security walking through the queues enforcing the mask policy. At silver dollar city/Dollywood lots of people think they are in the clear when they are in the que and pull their masks down or take off.

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks

We are boycotting all Indiana parks this year. Told Holiday World on social media that they are the only "major" park requiring masks. Lets just say they were not very professional. Went to Branson and Gatlinburg/pigeon forge recently and there was ZERO social distancing and wall to wall people. Safest place was the parks since they were requiring masks, but people were pulling their mask/face coverings off any chance they got. -
where is the gate located when you pull off the main road to go into Kings Island?
-
Why does one person your group need to have the app running? They are not having a virtual que.

With all do respect to the park. How is a large amusement park chain not able to have an IT department that can do easy tasks? Even Hershend that I know for sure that you're able to simply hit the cancel button. -

So parking opens @ 1030. Does that mean the gate, and where exactly is the gate when pulling in. What time you think people will be in line to get into the parking lot on 7/2? -

I am sure all reservation restrictions will be lifted within the first week due to turnout. -

I thought you could book another day after passholders only. Tried to book later in July as well and would not let me. -

After the first week just like any other park they will see that they are not even close to there capacity and will alter said rules on how many days you can reserve. -

You would think that people would just be glad to come to the park but...… We are out at Silver Dollar City since Thursday and joined their passholder facebook page and everyone is blasting the mask policy. -

Social media says otherwise...Plenty of entitled people.... -
Smokers would be stereotyped as not being able to breathe in the heat and wearing a mask.

We have been using buffs at SDC. Can't even tell they were on. -
They may be trying to detour smokers from coming to the park to prevent them from complaining about masks.

I usually support your stuff but this is laughable. Dollywood lax on mask on 6/15 and you blame that on a graph showing data from 6/14. Come on man -

I will have them scan my pass and take the disposable cup then so I don't have to lug that bottle around. -

BGT looks to be taking Dennis Speigel's advice and waiting till next year. -

Its probably going to be hard for coney even to max out their limited capacity. No one wants to go since rides are gone and people complaining of masks. -
Well you dismissed him saying that parks should wait till next year to promote new for 2020 rides?
-
What parks does Dennis Speigel actually advise?
