  1. "Theme park expert Dennis Speigel, of the Ohio-based International Theme Park Services, said he is advising his clients with big new attractions to keep them under wraps and wait for the next normal vacation season to have a splashy debut." https://www.tampabay.com/arts-entertainment/fun/theme-parks/2020/06/09/busch-gardens-president-talks-reopening-safety-and-when-we-can-ride-iron-gwazi/ Thoughts on Orion being pushed back to next year?
  2. The fat lady has sang. The rules are posted.
  3. I would rather have a parking lot coaster if it was a record breaker.
  4. Well with the consensus here and social media how the majority are anti masks that will lower demand. The backlash at SDC over masks on social media is the same as CF parks.
  5. SIlver Dollar city at first was limiting passholders to two reservation dates every 30 days. They have quickly aborted that and you can book as many days as you want. This is first hand knowledge and not here say from Instagram/facebook. I have 4 days booked next week. Demand does not seem as high as first thought.
  6. Please CF make an announcement concerning dates and restrictions so we can put this mask debate behind.
  7. Oh how is it down there since you have first hand experience and not basing it off Instagram/facebook posts.
  8. Again, all major chains are requiring face masks. SEAS, SIX, Disney, Universal, Hershend, etc.
  9. Requiring masks in Hotlanta.
  10. Those will be the rules as set by precedent. I am sure people would be more comfortable wearing bathing suits in the dry side of the park, men wearing no shirts, people smoking wherever they please, line jumping, etc. People abide by those rules(for the most part).
  11. https://attractionsmagazine.com/we-wore-a-mask-all-day-in-the-hot-sun-at-a-theme-park-heres-our-experience-and-advice/ People are already doing it in florida. Maybe people just need to get over themselves.
  12. Employees are wearing mask to prevent their droplets from going on others. Park patrons wear masks to keep their droplets from going on each other and park employees. A bandana covering your mouth and nose does quite a bit to help the spread.
  13. Please just go to holiday world and mt Olympus, and probably ky kingdom if you refuse to wear a mask. Any chain of parks will require face masks as seen from SEAS, Disney, SIX, Hershend, etc.
  14. I am sure a lot of covid + people will be getting into parks this year.
  15. Basic physics that wind pushing against your face will keep masks on.
  16. Those are independent parks. Again, all major chains are REQUIRING MASKS.
  17. SEAS, SIX, Disney, Universal, Hershend, all major chains are requiring masks. Why think CF would be different?
  18. There is not much to discuss, KI will be closed for the foreseeable future.
  19. Cobra's curse and WCR are excellent rides. People thought MM was getting a MACK cause a mack employee said California instead of Carolina. The most out of left field is IJST announced by Paramount at the height of the coaster wars and KD hyping a major announcement a few years back that everyone thought was a coaster but was a Planet Snoopy expansion.
  20. With all do respect Cheetah hunt is far from intense, it was built to have a smaller height requirement for younger guests and families to enjoy together. Any manufacturer can build rides based on customer wants.
  21. The LT was quick to point out that pool openings did not mean amusement/water parks. Not a surprise that amusement parks are at the bottom of the priorities. There can be horse racing but no spectators. That is to open 5/26. Let that sink in, how is an amusement park with thousands of guests are supposed to reopen? Summer is not that long.
  22. With all do respect, it had just got done with a lengthy retracking.
  23. Well millennium flyer trains are not good for airtime, a lot of enthusiasts feel the same. And no one has ridden an infinity train, but I would think they would be very similar to millennium flyer trains just able to be used with inversions.
