    Meanwhile, a local news online source is still reporting the hearing is tomorrow. It reportedly isn't.

    SIX has done a great deal of business with RMC. See volume discounting.

    Anyone here eaten in the Sky Room recently? At one time, it was splendid, with food lovingly prepared by nice, old ladies who could and did pass for your granny. Is it back to being great again?

    @ King Ding Dong: At the time, gate attendants in parking at Carowinds didn't scan Platinum Passes, so the pass had not been scanned that day before the main gate. It had, however, worked flawlessly the day before. Later that season, the same thing happened to one of the mods here. Saturday, fine. Sunday: You've already been in the park--no handstamp, I can't let you in. The time? 9:30 AM. This gets old.

    If you are comparing them to the Mason ones, I've seem babies crawl faster than the latter. Honest. Sad!

    It's as if the other parks see "foreign" Platinum Pass Holders as freeloaders to be tolerated at best. Compare how SeaWorld treats "foreign" pass holders. No comparison. Your best customers who paid the most you treat like dirt. That makes sense.

    He'll get the quarters all right. Right after they are converted into a spewing good time.

    During that time period, Holiday Inn was requiring major upgrades for properties that didn't meet their standards. Many properties that couldn't or wouldn't upgrade lost the franchise.

    Yesterday: $5 Sunday. By all accounts, the park was packed.

    I was told this on a Sunday morning when I was second in line to get in and the park had not opened. "But, Sir, the computer says..." Six people and 30 minutes later, I left. Life is too short for such mendacity.

    ...not that that helped me one iota at Carowinds. It didn't. If they claim you have already been in the park, what does a receipt do? Nothing.

    Kings Island Central was the result of the merger of two predecessor sites.

    Conneaut Lake Park was supposed to be open til 6. SIX! And, they were not.

    They had their fireworks on the 2d. Heaven knows why.

    Quality, not quantity. I neither know nor care how many posts I have here or the other several dozen boards I frequent.
