  10. Carnival rides are regulated by the U S Consumer Product Safety Commission. The safety record is admirable. Thoughts are one thing. Facts are another. The US Fixed Parks have fought this regulation for years.

  12. It's summer. It's carnival season. Parks also have incidents--most recently at Six Flags St. Louis.

  21. Indeed. The forums back then didn't observe DST on the correct dates. A post wouldn't show up four minutes after you logged out!
