Those same Trustees leased the Hotel Conneaut to Park Restoration LLC. Among the terms were that Park Restoration LLC could invest in repairs and improvements in the Hotel, and set the cost off against the rent. When Park Restoration LLC did so, the Trustees claimed Park Restoration LLC was behind in the rent, declared the lease in default, and seized the Hotel. I weep not for the Trustees. As ye sow, so shall ye reap. . .

And the already got your money means no urgency or great desire to take care of a customer who already may have an "I'm entitled" attitude.

Guests should not suffer due to interdepartmental conflicts over goals and targets. And they shouldn't hear about the conflicts either. Customer first? Best day ever?

That supervisor thinks he is doing what the park wants him to do. Probably because....he is.

I can leave the park, drive to Putz's Creamy Whip, enjoy a wonderful meal served by kind, cheerful people, and drive back faster. And pay for the gas with the savings--even after leaving a large tip. I recommend the foot long chili dog and a cherry malt. Yum.

And THIS year? Terp, who likes to ask questions.

It makes you wonder what performance standards the supervisor has. Why do I suspect reducing food cost and labor are paramount over customer service, speed, and food quality? What you measure is what you get...

The park had the responsibility to insure the building. It didn't. Park Restoration LLC did.

No. The opposite. Park Restoration LLC is a former operator of the Beach Club. This means the park now must come up with $482,260.75 more to pay the tax creditors, since the insurance company won't be paying them. Park Restoration LLC had bought and paid for the insurance policy. The Beach Club was subsequently destroyed by fire. The bankruptcy judge had determined that someone who neither bought nor paid for the policy and to whom the buyer owed nothing was somehow entitled to part of the loss payment.
