Enchanted Voyage song... Snoopy edition
The Enchanted Voyage song is great, and truly a celebration of Hanna-Barbera. However, because the license has been replaced twice since then, I'd like to update the song; same melody, but with new lyrics about the current license. Yep, Snoopy! All I have for the lyrics right now are "Snoopy and that Red Baron he chases," "I'm friends with Charlie Brown and Sally and her sweet baboo! Older sister Lucy, too..." and "I love that beagle and bird; I laugh at them until I hurt." It could be done in a jazz style, since we know Peanuts relied heavily on jazz. If anyone has anything they'd like to suggest for the lyrics, go ahead!

Action Zone / DC Universe retheme?
Six Flags was once owned by Warner Bros., so they're allowed to use the license as long as they want. In addition, Warner is closely involved with the rides.

Is there any Vortex resources/audio lines laying around?
I mean, what is the voice you are referring to? The feminine one, or the one that sounds like Zurg?

Days of thunder
I think it was SpongeBob by the time I went (August 2004.)

El Toro isn't that rough IMHO. Did you ride it before or after the structure repair???

If Taft could’ve done anything differently when planning KI
They needed to make those Space Ghost and Galaxy Trio rides (and give Birdman a ride.) Then in the 90s/00s they could've just desecrated all over them just like Adult Swim did.

What is the most popular ride at Kings Island?
I read both!

I rode SoB with the loop! That thing was rough in a good way! The loop was the only smooth part.

What is the "Vortex voice" exactly???
I heard this mentioned on another thread that said it was used in TV ads and in the station. They linked to a Sean Flaherty video, but it's down, so I had to look up the TV ad. There's two: a female voice and a male voice that sounds like the one at the beginning of the Indian Thriller (IYKYK.) Which one was used in the station?

Does anyone have any information on the "Vortex voice?" You mean the robotic one?

the Partridge Family at Kings Island
That song certainly shows its age, because how many kids today know who they are??? This is probably the reason they removed it in 1984... Nowadays, it'd go "Fred Flintstone, he's the Grand Dad; Scooby Doo and Super Shag; Space Ghost, Zorak, Moltar, and Brak, live in my TV!"

I didn't spit DIRECTLY on her, but in her direction. And I was 8.

Action Zone / DC Universe retheme?
Am I the only person who LIKES the DC themes Six Flags uses? I loved DC and Looney Tunes as a kid to the point where I read the comics, and I still do today. I'm the only one who cares about riding a coaster because of its superhero name, at least for enthusiasts. And I'm glad. He was voiced by Steven Blum in Young Justice!

Blue Ice Cream at Carowinds?
I hated the Smurfs, but I liked the ice cream (I was the same with the Dora ice pop.)
-
Tron coaster at magic kingdom
I loved Tron back in the day; I was the only kid in the early 00s who knew about it.

Carowinds
I miss Borg Assimilator. That was my favourite ride there.

What is the most popular ride at Kings Island?
The Beast was a CLASSIC!!! I read the book based on it by R.L. Stine!
-
Tomb Raider : Wetter Than Ever
I miss this ride! I loved the Tomb Raider series, so a theme park ride based on a video game was an absolute W!

In 2009 Hanna-Barbera Characters Returned To Kings Island?
They should have played the Enchanted Voyage song to send them off.

Kings Island Brady Bunch Episode Turns 50
I totally remember this episode, AND Paramount owned the Brady Bunch (I went when it was a Paramount Park!) Cindy's drawing of Yogi Bear made me crack up, and I got to see him a day later (okaa-san showed me this episode the day before we went.)

The official "Bring the Flying Eagles home" thread.
I don't mind. As long as guests are enjoying them at Carowinds, I'm happy.

Remembering the Flying Eagles
I rode this the last year it operated AND at Paramount's Carowinds in 2006.

Guests Say The Darnest Things
I already mentioned my experiences on the other thread, but there were these two teens joking about "having a gay old time" in the Hanna-Barbera section.

Guests DO the darnest things
I remember everyone screaming when the lights went out in the FoF preshow, and some guy saying "SISSIES!!!" Also, some mom who CLEARLY didn't like SpongeBob telling him "You're what's wrong with television nowadays!" She went on to mention the "adult humour" in the show, like how there's a character named "Sandy Cheeks" (which in reality, was named because she's a squirrel) and how they live in a town called Bikini Bottom (again, was meant to be a reference to Bikini Atoll.) I didn't like that mom one bit and SPAT IN HER FACE as she left. Thankfully, she didn't see me. Then again, my parents and I were the same way with Dora (though that's because of her incessant screaming and the creepy art style.)
