Agreed 100%! I too have rode this ride my entire life, and was startled by reading the above posts. If they ever did tear it down, whatever would go back there to replace it would never have that secluded feel that The Bat has, as you said.
Hello. As a KI regular, I can tell you that Invertigo is going to take awhile to get on. There is only one train, and it takes awhile to load, and unload it.
I agree, I can't see anything else there besides The Bat, or if The Bat left in the coming years, (as sad as that would be) the old SOB land plus The Bat land would make for something pretty good.
Whatever it is, I hope it starts operating again soon. In my opinion, it is one of the more underrated rides in the park, especially since it is one of the last of it's kind.
Not too much, just make sure you get in line before they close the line. Along with the usual awesome night rides such as Beast, DB, Orion, and others, I highly recommend riding The Bat at night.
So thats where the baby geese went. Earlier in the season I saw them over in the pond next to the Viking ship, and then they weren't there a week later. Got me worried! (:
