  1. Please no. The purpose of a themed attraction is to get people to feel as if they've stepped out of the regular world, not to thrust them back into it.
  2. While I don't know if it even has a name, it wasn't on the map last year either. It's probably intentional, since the scare actors over there are pretty well disguised as bushes,
  3. Group of two teens waiting in line for The Racer while looking at AE: "That's Mystic Timbers, right?" "No, that's The Beast! How dumb can you be?" "Oh wait, you're right. Can't believe I made that mistake."
  4. I think it'll average over an hour over the course of the season. I'm curious if more queue space will be added.
  5. "We got a Golden Ticket. Get your Gold Pass today!"
  6. That song he's listening to looks awesome. It might just be the MVP
  7. Tragic...I could've saved some time at CP if I knew this before I went. However, it's rare to see any line longer than Maverick's, so I always used it there.
  8. Curious...Cedar Point's app lists only certain rides being Single-Use Fast Lane compatible due to Fast Lane Plus.
  9. I feel like Great Adventure fell out of the top tier when Ka closed, but the company probably doesn't agree.
  10. Surprisingly, the sign for PT:ON outside formerly-Boo Blasters promotes the Gold Pass.
  11. New temporary queue space for BBOBH has been added. The line now starts by the entrance to the Peanuts Showplace and winds its way up to the castle.
  12. I find it noteworthy that Rick Bastrup wrote in his book, Adventures of a Theme Park Designer, that he'd be willing to help bring back Phantom Theater. Keep in mind that the book was written around the time PT:E was still being shown in the park.
  13. I wouldn't be surprised if this happened. Early Intamin hydraulic launchers seem to start having major problems around the 20 year mark.
  14. Wasn't there a Peanuts-themed shooting ride on passholder surveys for a while? If so, it's entirely possible that that PT:ON was that very concept to start out, but was re-themed. Why would they change the theme? Because of the expiring license. This could be an indicator that Charlie Brown and Snoopy might be evicted in favor of one of the legacy SF IPs.
  15. While I really love the whole idea, the new character design is a little funky, especially Maestro. I was expecting the cast to be pretty close to what they looked like originally.
  16. Maybe it'll be both, continuing Mike's story and ending with the announcement.
  17. It's probably either for Conjuring, or for some Haunt props.
  18. Great job, KI. Now I'm gonna lose a ton of sleep thanks to your epic teaser.
  19. Here's an idea; since Pass Perks actually work now, add one day of Haunt maze admission as a mid-tier reward.
  20. The park's site states that they're waiting on a part.
  21. Low, but possible. I'd like to see Ragin' Cajun move into Snoopy.
  22. According to @KIghostguy 's KI book, the ride was already under construction when Paramount took over. This would also infer that the (originally intended) theme had been chosen by that point, which would explain the strange color scheme.
  23. At CP in line for SteVe: "I don't see why they have all this dang metal detection." "It's probably 'cause the ride is steel." Same group, ten mins later... "They're running two cars here. Most rides don't do that."
  24. The KI haunt site now shows sponsors for Slaugtherhouse (Skittles), Alien Abyss (Snickers), and KillMart (M&Ms). Please don't tell me they're about to put a ton of ugly "presented by ______" signs on each of those.
