If this is where the Mini-bug was, http://www.extremepki.com/gallery/displayi...?album=33&pos=7 No more Mini-bug.
-
They still show Rugrats, and Rocko. Dough was brought by Disney and redone. The new Doug wasn't as good as the original. You can't forget Beetlejuice.
-
Oh god, how many us of grew up watch Nickelodeon? I did sadly, I can't watch it no more, it is stupid.
-
Darn, I was hoping to see the building torn down. Anyone know where they moved too.
-
I think they should bring back a full size Tumblebug and Whip. By modern standards people would think of them as Kiddy rides, so it would be smart to put them in Nick. Universe.
-
I agree too, would be perfect.

I said me not every parent. A thrill ride is generally a ride that spins in more than one direction like a Scrambler, a kiddy ride as Klockster said is anything that has a max. height limit, or is accepted as a kiddy ride. Skytours doesn't have a max at Carowinds, so it is a family ride. Our kiddy boat ride works like the Taxi Jam so it is a kiddy ride. Taxi Jam is a coaster. What is "Screecher" and "Squid"?
-
I believe they are going for families. Our Nick area has two thrill rides in it. I call it the "Family Area" instead of the "Kiddy Area". Carowinds Family Area Thrill Rides:2 Coasters:3 Kiddy Rides:4 Family Rides:7 Total:16 PKI Kiddy Area(as of 2005) Coasters:5 Thrill Rides:0 Family Rides:3 Kiddy Rides:12 Total:20 Point is, to go towards a Disney Style area. They need to mix in thrill rides so the parents can ride rides and be close to their kids. Personally, I ain't putting my child on any ride I can't ride with them if they are under the age of 3. I trust the ride(s) but I want to be able to protect my child if I ever I have one. Furthermore, I wouldn't want my child walking around any theme park by themselves until they are 10.

The Italian Job Turbo Coaster

I can tell you their recreation, "They call themselves fans of the park." -
I heard the same color it is now, ain't that Jarvis?
-
That is our Dutchman's Revenge. There is plywood cutouts in the station and que.
-
I doubt the GP didn't know it was called Beastie. The GP at Carowinds knew our Odd Coaster as Scooby-Doo or Ghoster Coaster. The adults and teens would always say "They changed the name, it used to be Scooby-Doo". We heard this even during Winterfest when the ride wasn't open.
-
I would be worried about the tunnel at the bottom of the first drop than the name. It is being rethemed to Fairly OddParents to attract more kids to ride. It is called a ploy. This is the same reason the rest of the area is being rethemed to Nicktoons.

Scooby-Dooby-Doo!

We have a problem with people writing on the wood when the trains are stopped on the break runs. Simple solution, run one train, that way it doesn't stop on the break run. Of course, we all know the problem with that. Another solution would be to get employees that won't let the people who do that junk ride anymore, and eventually get kicked out of the park. If it ain't your's, don't mess it up. To solve, the problem of the foam on the lapbars, take it off. One ride without that foam on some rides, and I bet you they will wish it was padded.

I believe they will get a dark ride. -
What exactly is going to happen in HB?
RollerNut replied to BarkerCounty182's topic in Coming Attractions
Well, no timeline(or anything else) is perfect. If you notice PGA doesn't have the rights because PGA wasn't theirs at the time(1989). -

Only our trains are Fairly OddParents colors, the ride structure kept it's Animation Station colors(purple and yellow). BTW, the rights to Scooby-Doo and all of the HB cartoons are never ending. -
Now Coasterbruh, lets not upset them too much. We don't want another ocean of tears over a lost ride.
-
I ride them all the time. Everyone down here at Carowinds loves them. Photos of Phantom Flyers
-
I said the same about Thunder Road. Atleast Racer has paint on it.
-
Yea, they got me too. My only suggestion was Winterfest Scooby-Doo Walk around character.
-
Crowds are very light at Winterfest when it is cold but on warmer nights, it is almost like a regular operating. My opinion on Winterfest is that it is geared to the wrong age group. I think they need to close the kiddy rides, and open the thrill rides because I see more couples than families. I think Winterfest is great but I see things I don't like too. However, I am keeping my mouth shut on what I don't like because Paramount knows what they are doing and I like my job. Winterfest will improve just like SCarowinds did. I don't drive between an 1 hour and 15 minutes to an 2 and a half hours to work for the money.

FALSE! Most of the people I talk to say it is to cold to go to an amusement park. I have heard ya'll numbers and ours.
