Yes, I remember XPP. I was mainly a Carowinds site. Most of what they had was Carowinds. I just dropped into the middle of nowhere. I wish the PPG best of luck.

I do believe a site like this is bad for everyone as not only can a site like this drain the Kings Island, Kings Dominion, and Carowinds fansites, but it can't cover the parks the same way our sites can as we know more about our parks than one person could about them.

Boy, I agree with that. I hate that thing and I haven't seen it. The idea of a parade is stupid, it causes popluar rides to close early, and congests walkways. The change can't be prevented, what gets me is Carowinds is going first. We normally go last.

I ain't counting on it because the area had 13 rides in NC, ZZ, and AS last year. Yes, Animation Station and Zoom Zone are now mostly defunct. It is very sad but unlike us Paramount Parks doesn't care about HB. It is all about Nicktoons. On a side note, our mini-swing set may be removed, so this is your warning for Pixie & Dixie.

I always dream of a Scooby-Doo themed looping coaster called "Scooby-Doo and the Carolina Twister" with Scooby, and the gang everywhere around the ride.

I think we need to work on digging up the history of Hanna-Barbera(Cartoon Network) Studios. I still think Paramount should leave adults with more than Scooby-Doo, just because it is a kiddy area doesn't mean they shouldn't have rides or things for adults to do. Disney works like this. Basically mix our favorite characters with Nicktoons, drop separating them, and make one big area with both sets of cartoons.

While a minute, according to what you just said Hanna-Barbera was never sold off. Therefor, Paramount Owns Hanna-Barbera which is now Cartoon Networks Studios. Several of your cartoons cartoons are actually Hanna-Barbera cartoons.

SpongeBob, yuck. That is one messed up cartoon. I like Neutron and OddParents. But nothing can take the place of Scooby-Doo. If I ever have kids, I will have to block Nickelodeon, cause by that time. My favorites will be all gone.

My question is where is the information coming from. PKD's website still list them as Taxi Jam and Scooby-Doo. Could the information gotten mixed up and it was ment to be Carowinds because Carowinds is the only park that has said they are expanding Nickelodeon Central. Plus PKD's Haunted Mansion is in Kidzville, so wouldn't it be out of place in Nickelodeon Central.

That is what I am thinking. The Boating School ride seems more like a Car Ride like the Antique Cars then a kiddy Speedboat ride.

Sad to say but I think Carowinds is going to follow, along with all of the Paramount Parks. We are now seeing the end of Hanna-Barbera. I actually like the name "Fairly Odd Coaster" as for Hey Arnold's Taxi Jam. At least we can still call it Taxi Jam. RIP Hanna-Barbera Land(PKD and Carowinds) 1975-2004 However I think PKI will hold off another season leaving ya'll one last year with them.

I am sure Carowinds will take care of the Flying Eagles, look at Stealth. It is now BORG Assimilator and it runs better at Carowinds than it did at Great America.

All of the Paramount Parks use the same animation, it looks like it was made by someone from PKI cause Carowinds doesn't have a Wave Swinger and Drop Zone is a roto-drop. It is still cute and funny.

They may have sent them to Lowes Motor Speedway for the SB Kiddy Area. Carowinds/Paramount Parks was behind the SpongeBob The Movie 300. They may as well called it the Carowinds 300.

Coney Man is right, which is why we say KI has always been a Paramount Parks and Carowinds was brought by Paramount Parks in 1974. It is basically the same group of investors and people in all. The name of the company has just been change.

Don't count on Carowinds putting them in the kiddy area, this is assumed as the main focus is the kiddy area. However, I am doubting they will be put in the kiddy area. I am betting the Carolina RFD, Carolina Boardwalk, or County Fair. Rumor has it that it will be renamed to "Spirt of Kitty Hawk". Rumor also hs it that I will be there Opening Day flying on BORG and the Eagles almost all day.
