because some people don't value their valuables. i mean seriously, what is more important to you, guys? breaking the rules and taking pictures on the rides, or your life? FORGET THE STUPID PICTURES AND VIDEOS. I mean, they say no cameras for a reason b/c they don't want you suing them if you drop it and it busts in a million pieces. plus if you're busy trying to tape it you're not holding on to the handles like you should. as for the fanny pack, on Vortex you cam move it up so it sits in the gap. they made me take my bookbag on the ride. i didn't have anything in it that was valuable, i left that stuff in my locker (except for my cell phone which was tied to my pants) and they made me take it on. now THAT IMO can be dangerous b/c if you go upside down it could hit you in the head or it could fall out. it's hard to restrain bags like that. i usually loop it on my legs but even then it is hard to hold on to. and as for the whole annoying employee bit, a side note... I like my co-workers but they're 16 and 17 year olds and myself being 20, i'm more mature than them. we get to play music, but we're supposed to keep it down so it doesn't interfere with taking orders. well yesterday i had to compete over blaring loud music and 2 giggling screeching female co-workers (16 and 17). I almost told them to shut up. Next time I will. I'd rather have the customer hear me say HEY! SHUT UP FOR A FEW MINUTES SO I CAN TAKE THIS ORDER! than hear me say "what? can you repeat that? still didn't get it" lol. I'm a LOUD person when I yell, and i can easily yell over loud music and screaming girls. I didn't b/c i didn't think my customer wanted to get their ears blasted. lol You were forced to take on your bags? Why couldn't you leave your bag in the station? I never once heard that an ride associate told someone to take their bag with them on the ride. We tell you you CAN leave the bag, but we are not RESPONSIBLE for the bag.

Hey, Rules are rules and they are enforeced for your safety. Come on guys, Think here. If you have something in between you and the restraint, you say you are on Vortex, the bag that is between you and the restraint comes out, and guess what, you now have a huge gap between you and the restraint, meaning, you are NO LONGER held back in your seat. Guess what, you fall out and go splat on the ground under you. I for one know that I dont want that to happen to me, nor would i want to clean that up, YUCK! Just a friendly thought

I credit Jeff for knowing the exact words to the spiels of FOF. He is prob the only one besides me who is a fanatic about FOF and its theme. As Jeff said, not much is wrong. I wish they would bring back the fog, but I understand why they got rid of it.

Yea, He was on a platform but I was told he went to look over and the elvator came down (or went up) and ripped his head off. But silimar stories.

Well, the story is that Senior from High School is the one who died b/c it was on grad night and he was on the stairs of tower. That is how the story was told to me for the past 4 years, all by different people and I never heard of the version you just said.

still, its the fact that some employees may feel intemadated (spelling) by going up to some one and tell them they cant smoke there. Its asking for trouble.

Finally, someone said it. We are a team and not one crew is better then the other. Each department is the same way. We all work as a team. And I think we make a great team at that.

Well, I dont care for it either and you can ask all my friends who do smoke, Im always on their case about stopping. But I guess I'm used to it b/c its everywhere that I doesnt bother me unless you blowing it in my face.

I wasnt argueing when I said that, i just meant some guests think they know what is better for them even though we as an operator knows best. Just like when a parent lies and tries to get their kid on a ride even after you check their height and explain over and over again that thier child is too short. Meanwhile, that child is crying b/c he doesnt want to ride and his folks are fighting w/ us about it. Yes, it happens.

I hate smoking and am against it, but in this case, you make a good point. I can see them telling someone to stop smoking in a building or que line, but just in the park in general? Thats a little insane. It is open air and as long as they are not blowing it into my face, I dont have a problem with it. What I do have a problem is with the smokers who dont care and will be up against you blowing smoke into your face or just around you and when you asked them to either do it off the side or put it out, they get in your face and go off on you b/c they are making you cough. Im not saying all smokers are like this, in fact, i have many friends who do smoke and they are considerate, but its the ones who are not considerate and who dont give a darn about anything or anyone.

You might be a PKI addict if you....every time you pass Kings Island to go to your other job, you get into the right lane on I-71N and slow down and watch the rides all at the same time, trying to avoid a wreck, lol.
