Whoever's editors these are need to figure out how to distinguish between the words "theme" and "amusement" And where the hell is PKI?

Ya'know, I'll probably get mugged for saying this, but I don't really care for LaRosa's. I do, however, LOVE a good meal of burgers and fries at Happy Days Diner. (and a milkshake!!)

I don't mean to be rude, but I know my comment will come across that way: If the word "slut" offends you in today's world, even for a family coaster, you seriously need to consider the world we're living in. Living rooms across the world today are being exposed to much more "offensive" content...sex, drugs, war, death, curse words (the 7 dirty words that you can't say on TV come to mind here...not words like slut), etc. are all being broadcast on TV and radio, on CDs, and even communicated via friends. It's just the world we're living in today. If the word "slut" offends you, you may wish to lock yourself in your bathroom and void yourself of any television, radio, telephone, and communication with the outside world...otherwise, you're in for a big surprise.

My third visit this year, first time IJ was open while I was at the park, I ran straight through the front gates to the ride...dragging my friends behind. I act like a spoiled little kid when I'm at the park. If I want to ride something, buddy...you can bet I'm going to ride it!

darn upgrades. You've just gotta love to hate 'em. I used to have to deal with a lot of DB errors on previous sites I've run for people...databases can get pretty icky. Keep up the great work!

I like how the old map sorted attractions by area. I didn't like the "feel" of the old map, though. The rectangular shape was just kind of, odd...strange as it sounds. The new map looks good (I like that major attractions get a little colored box with info on the ride) but I do not like title the park areas and I do not like the attraction locater, no matter how "Disney-esque" it may be. The new map, in my opinion, is much less user-friendly for new park guests. Then again, it is just a map...so it's not too much of a big deal, but still, as an avid theme park map collector, these things stick in my mind.

That's what I was meaning...If the park allows the theming to deteriorate, the ride will drop into obscurity, as much as I hate to say it. I am a themeing and thrill fan..I like either type of ride, and it pains me to see the park neglect the theming on the rides like this. If they can't handle the theming, give us thrills...One or the other, just don't half-ass it. That's what I say

I'm afraid of that very same thing, Ben. And the problem with that is, since IJ is a theme-focused ride instead of thrill-focused, if the park lets its theme deteriorate, the ride will be worthless. Right now, IJ is a great ride. 5 years from now...well, we can only hope for the best.

I was at the park on the 8th as well. Walk-ons all day for everything I rode except for Tomb Raider, IJ (ride tickets), and Face/Off. Rode Vortex 5 times in a row. I LOVE days like that.

Actually, you're quite welcome to an opinion...but when you're beating a dead horse, it starts to get annoying. Complaining that SOB is rough has been an argument since day one. Some people think it is rough as hell, some people love it the ride and don't consider it too bad. Thing is, you knew what you were getting in to. Joking or not, your comment on who to send the doctor bill to is the whiniest thing I've heard on here in awhile. You don't happen to own a Gold Pass, do you?

Keep the doctor bill and next time, take a look at the track. It's wooden. It's also a fricken HUGE wooden coaster. And, let's see...You've been a member of this site since March 28, you'd figure that would be plenty of time to read the remarks regarding the coaster. People REALLY need to stop complaining. If you don't like the park, go to Cedar Point, Kings Dominion, Carowinds, Busch, Disneyworld, IOA, I don't care. You act like you've never been to the park with your comments, yet you feel the need to mention the antique cars are missing from their "storage area"...like you've been to the park plenty this season. In conclusion: Save your doctor bill, go see a shrink, and put both of those towards your deductible. Have a great day, and thanks for visiting Paramount's Kings Island!

Well, from what it looked like yesterday, the used the reservation tickets for half the day, but a little later, it looked as if they were just letting people get in line. I'd say they were just done (out) with reservation tickets for the day, but I didn't see anyone taking any tickets when people entered the queue. Maybe I was just on crack, but this is what I saw yesterday. I had to use a reservation ticket yesterday...around 1 or 2...whatever time it opened up.

I know on Sneak Preview weekend in April, the outside of the "base" had those messages playing. I remember this, because, as it was my first visit since the off-season, I forgot those messages played. I was kind of freaked out when I heard "Red Alert" haha

Hey, you can see the mid-course breaks on Vortex! I wonder if anyone online saw a train sitting up there for about 15 minutes yesterday?

I'm just saying...My pass says that, and I got it April 3. Others have also confirmed this.

My main problem with SOB only happens on very rare occasions: Charley horses It's a ***** to get one in the middle of the ride...and kind of degrading to get off the ride in tears simply because of a muscle pain.

Wow. That really, really sucks. One of the best rides in the park, down for around a month. Oh well, I'll be thrilled to see it going again!

You just cannot ride over the wheels! I finally gave up my usual seat (over a wheel) for a non-wheel seat. It was a great ride!!! SOB is great, anyway. I don't consider it too bad at all, even over a wheel.

The crane was at IJ this morning working on the helix for some reason. I got to the park at opening, and IJ didn't open for a couple hours afterwords. Upon walking by IJ, I saw the crane there, and a man in the middle of the helix doing some work. And boy, those new sprayers on WWC pack a punch! It just doesn't feel like the trip was complete, tough, without Delerium.

I think you have to pay the $20 fee still.
