I can see that there'd be walk-ons all day...but an almost 3 hour drive for a day at the park filled with rain and wind, and the possibility of the park closing early, I'd rather wait the extra day.

Sunday, hopefully. I gave up on Saturday...and I'd HATE to have to give up Sunday.

Oops...I read the post wrong. For some reason, I was thinking it said the ride was opening on the 19th. I thought that was a bit early for a preview day...I can understand having it open on the 29th

How'd the cars fair around the track? Any difficulties? Did they have any of those "hollywood special effects" going on yet? It'd be quite a treat if they had the ride running for sneak preview weekend!

In what I've experienced all season last year at PKI, the lines don't get too long at all with even slightly bad weather. Each time I went last year, lucky as I was, it rained FIRST thing in the morning, and quit as the park was opening. Guess what? Walk ons pretty much the whole day. I do see what you're saying, but from personal experience, that hasn't been the case.

..and hey, bad weather can be good for us. No lines! Also, it looks as if I'm going alone. Might be fun. I just don't like the idea of riding coasters with *gasp* people I don't know. It just doesn't seem like it'd be fun.

I'll come say hi Diana. I need to hit the tower this year...never had the chance to go last season.

Aha! Thanks for that, Ben. I'm with CoastersRZ on this one...I liked it when the perks were all listed, in detail, on one page. Sure, the flash movie is great...it just needs to be better organized, and they need to explain the full detils of the perks.

Same here. It'll probably take a few more days to get my mailer as I'm in Indianapolis. It just seems as though our perks are kind of skimpy this year.

Yeah, I'm not seeing anything on the site about the .99 refills. Was this in the mailer?

I'm kind of disappointed that we're not getting the special cups for $0.99 refills. It'd also have been nice to have the $15 off a guest's ticket all year, or the free ticket with your 4th visit. Don't get me wrong, I love what we get...It's just disappointing to see PC and PKD both getting those perks.
