Although I would love to see HBL come back, kids are more into Nick Toons, rather than HB. You ask some kids and they don't even know who the Smurfs are. I wish there was a part of the park that could be deticated to the Original KI and bring back some of our beloved cartoon favorites.

Screemin Demon was my first roller coaster that went upside down and backwards. I can still remember standing in line with my dad so I could ride it for the first time. I would love to have one in my back yard. Even if you did have to climb 5 flights of stairs and wait 2 hrs it was a great ride for it's time. Camden Park sold the cars to a private collector in Ohio from what I hear.

What do over weight people have to do with the train getting stuck?

Strickers Grove is a prime example of Amusement Parks of the past. It is a great place. I have been there several times. Great wooden coasters.

The Beast a 4 or a 5.

No one ever thought they would remove the Flyers either, but look what happened. One day it will be there and the next it is removed. Nothing is safe anymore.

Scream'n Demon was taken down and scraped. I have a friend who works at Camden and they was trying to sell it but basically, they were told it was very unsafe, and in too much need of repair. I heard a private collector in Ohio bought the cars from Camden but I have no proof, only what I have been told. KC was a great coaster when it was built but with all the problems it had it was starting to get dangerous to operate.

Great Wolf Lodge is supposed to have it open in 2006. Doesn't mean it will due to weather, shipment of materials, etc. It will be a great addition to the places to stay close to PKI.

I liked it better as Kings Mills Log Flume but it doesn't matter. WTRA has some theming to it but I wouldn't call it a Hollywood makeover.

HB Land is going to be extinct. PKI is doing away with HB Land as you know. The only thing that is going to be used as far as cartoon figures from HB is Scooby Doo and that is the SCATHC will stay.

I used to enjoy going to River Town Mining Co, however, I think over the years the price got way out of hand and they don't carry as nice as things as they used to.

I have heard the same that they are refurbishing the cars and they are going to part of the Nick part of the park. I wouldn't mind seeing that.

You must be an expert with the park to have such accurate information! Actually - why don't you just wait and see when it reopens and stop speculating about it.

Accidents happen, no matter what park you go to, there is always that chance, but that is the chance you take when you enter into the ride carriage of any ride. I agree PKI is probably one of the SAFEST parks around but there is always going to be that chance that something will happen.

I also liked The Bat! Too bad it didn't last more than a couple of years.

You should be able to email them and request a copy of the program. I have requested copies of programs before so it shouldn't be a problem. There is a charge for the video and s&h. This might help.

Does it really matter? Can't it be about how fun it is to ride it instead of how long it is. Since when did the both of The Beast lift hill chains run from the same gear house?? I was an associate of The Beast and I don't remember them running on the same motor.

Who knows for sure that ghost even exsist. No one has ever proved it. I think it is just tail lights from one of the maintaince trucks or security in the park.
