I personally think those kite flyer things are pretty lame. There is one at out county fair that is the exact same thing in the picture. At our fair it's not too popular with thekids but more so with older pre-teens.

They should leave Beastie alone and make FOP into a spinning mouse ride.

I like everything about the site except the color scheme and as CoastersRZ pointed out, the gallery. I have never been a fan of the black color scheme. I know it goes with the IJ theme but it just seems very dark and dull.

If you didn't like Slingshot then ride it with the restraint loose! It is so much scarier when you sling up to the top, then on the downward pull you slide out of your seat and basically the only thing holding you in is the belt from your crotch to your restraint. Now that is scary (and also a tad painful on your manhood!).

Roller Coaster: Face/Off It is just a boomerang when it comes down to it. Plus it's capacity sucks. Water Ride: Congo Falls I've never been a fan of water rides, specially the ones like CF! Thrill Ride: Would the FX Theatre count? If not, I guess nothing really because all of PKI's flats are awesome and add something different. Flat Ride: Monster! I hate that ride so much.

I doubt a seagull would venture into the middle of the park. Yes I heard about Fabio on MF and a girl on maXair. It does happen, but both rides are along the shore.

You need better choices because you only have the extremes. I personally would be a little dissapointed, but I really woundn't care because I don't like it very much.

If they put in the Top Gun: Supersonic ride, would they be replacing the current TG? I wouldn't think they would want two TG rides. I'd Imagine they just wouldn't theme it to TG. A more logical choice would be a Star Trek theme like Borg's.

My Summer went way too fast also. We start school tomorrow...but it's my first day in high school so I am excited.

I think IJ's popularity will probably drop a little bit after major thrill seekers have givin it a go, but younger kids and families will still ride it. It looks like a 'big kid' attraction, but little kids can ride it. Therefore, I think it will still attract families and kids.

I actually think it seems slower and much less thrilling in the front and back. That's why I always ride in the middle.

If you want scared, just walk around the lower (where the gift store is) observation deck for a couple of minutes. We were looking out the complete floor to ceiling windows and we heard a loud noise and then screams and shouts. Before we had time to react, the X-Scream ride litterally shot ride in front of the window. It then gave a little jolt forward (scaring the riders). Anyway, we had completely forgotten about it so when it came down in front of the window, us and an overlly vocal black women flipped out lol! The car actually comes about one or two feet forward of the track. Once I saw that, I was like "there is no way you are gettin me on that thing."

I like the current FoF theme. I wouldn't mind an updated look or a retheme (as long as it is still sci-fi).

Why would it no longer be the longest? It would still be wooden roller coaster because it has wooden track. The type of supports has nothing to do with what type of roller coaster it is.

^I actually enjoyed Mantis. I would say ride it if they wait is no longer than 20, otherwise skip it. Or if you want, ride it. I think it is worth the wait, but obviously not everyone does. By the way, you won't be able to use the freeway passes b/c they have permanently removed them due to bugdet cuts. What a sad time when CP has to make bugdet cuts and removes the best free thing there.

We went last spring break and I was planning on rideing the rides, but it is really high and itmimdating once you get up there. Make sure you don't miss Speed the ride at Nascar Cafe (you won't miss it, it is litterally on the strip) or the Adventure Dome at Circus Circus. You can easily hit both in one afternoon. Have fun!

I thought AE was part of oktoberfest. Anyway, I agree. And if they don't revamp the area, I wouldn't be surprised to see "eaten" by an Action Zone expansion.

I like HB land characters better than Nick, but I have to agree that kids to come to PKI b/c of the Nick characters.

I think your safest bet would be to just add like a "feed" that guides the train into a center peice that guides/prevents it from swinging. I think that TG is fine the way it is and that the costs of maintaining a suspended looper would be too much to bother with.
