I want to ride slingshot but it's too expensive. Plus, we are going with my school and I'm affraid a teacher will watch the vid; I know I'll be cussing like a sailor on that ride . . . Plus, I'd prlly get sick b/c it seems jerky when it rolls and stuff.

The Racers getting removed . . . now that's just crazy talk. Why would they want to? It is an awesome ride that really the whole family can ride. Removing The Racers would prlly ruin Coney Mall.

that's freakin steep! 25 bucks! There's no way I'm payin that much, it's nearly as much as I had to pay for admission to pki; 30 b/c of school deal. I'm definatly riding skyflyer if it's only 10.

Does anybody know how much the skycoaster ripcord thing and Slingshot cost? I couldn't find it at pki.com or here. thanks

We are going to PKI next Saturday and it will be so freakin awesome. Anyway, I'm riding with a friend that has only been to Holiday World. He has never riddin a looper so what should I start him off with? I figured FoF since it's not as rough and it does only have lap bars compared to Vortex's OTSRs. Do you think thats a smart move? I don't think the launch will bother him . . .

Some moron was dribbling his in the FoF line and it rolled under the space ship. He was showing off so he had to mocho and climb under the ship and get it. It was hillarious. They were using their cells as lights. It really bothers me when couples (usually its only teens) make out hard core. It was really awkward standing in line behind a bunch of punks making out, all with your mom.....

I hope they get a sci-fi themed area behing FoF or something. That would be really cool. Sorry to all you AF fans but I could care less about it. I would only like the theme if we got a REALLY sweet vertical drop coaster.

The only time I ever thought Vortex was a little bit bumpy is in the double corkscrew but that a kind of a norm for any corkscrew.

I've never lost anything, but it's always funny to see what people have lost in the congo falls pool after the drop.

they only bracelet you will ever see me wear is a live strong or maybe a breast cancer one. I think that all the companies that make the braceletts are just copying off of Lance's idea. Even if all proceeds go to a charity, I still don't really like it. Lance's idea is the best...I mean you see celebs w/ em on but you dont see celebs with any other one on....idk...i guess i just don't like the idea lol...

Are the rehearsal things open to all guests or just season pass holders? I was bummed when I read it would open the 20 bc we are goin the 14 but now i may get to ride it!

My favorite memory was my first ride on The Beast. I was so scared that I closed my eyes on the lift hill. Another good memory was seeing my parents' faces when they saw Drop Zone, then their faces when they saw me get on it. lol Good Times

^I agree. I think Top Gun's days are numbered and I look to see it gone by 08, if not sooner. I hate to see it go b/c it is really fun in the front seat but it is so short. I don't think they will do much to it like adding wings or doing a major renovation to the themeing because it just can't get riders like it used to. Plus, if they put in a B&M or any other type of major roller coaster, I think it's popularity will drop even more.

If they didn't trust them so much then why aren't they replacing TTD's? They put the OTSR on KK b/c (I'm guessing so don't hold my word to it) the extra hill.

Another wooden roller coaster!?! Dear God I hope not. I definatly(sp) don't believe him. Why and where would they put another woody in the park. If they were thinking of putting in another woody, why wouldn't it have been on the survey a while ago that proposed different ride ideas.......

The only reason I don't like Vortex is because you get thrown around in the seat a lot, especially in the corkscrews. I would like it a whole bunch better if they got rid of the god awful OTSRs. I they can put lap bars in FoF, I don't see why they can't put them in Vortex.

My fav. roller coaster would have to be FoF. I LOVE launched rides w/ a passion b/c of the supense. My fav. ride altogher though would be Drop Zone by a long shot. I absolutely love that ride. It is the ONLY ride that really scares the pants off me.

OMG I was totally thinking the same thing about tilting the seats. What would be really sweet would be if you were dropped individually. Like you all go up together, but then people just start to randomly fall. I haven't every felt the "pins and needles" thing on DZ but have on FO. Has come they dont spin it at the top anymore? My guess would be b/c of the already low capacity and the extra spin would lower it.

I like the idea of banning smoking because several times I've have walked by people that I didn't notice were smoking and they blew the smoke RIGHT in my face. I was so mad. Plus I think it adds to the family park theme.

I just watched a movie or w/e on the IJ:ST and when it went down the "steps" to the subway, it showed it as being bumpy. J/W if anyone knew if it was actually going to be bumpy. I really hope not b/c I would think it would be rough and really annoying, especially for how fast it appeared to be going in the movie.
