I stayed in the hotel that was to become Castaway Bay while they were building the water park, so I haven't seen it firsthand, but more or less a preview of what was to come. Hmm...I kinda just realized this post is going nowhere, and has no point. I'll try to make one. Maybe Cedar Fair just tried to jump on the bandwagon and reap profits, but has met up with competition they didn't expect? I don't know.

Okay, So I wasn't the only one who noticed this. Anybody have input as to why it was like this?

I don't...in fact, I live 3 and a half hours away.

I remember seeing soemthing on national news about this a couple days ago. The endangered mussels had something to do with it, yes. There are some times, when people, should probably come before mussels... I'm glad that I live in a place with plenty of water to go around, for now.

Hmm, this Deja Vu, I never got to experience. Just the one at SFoG for me, but it was enough to love the ride, even with the mechanical problems they seem to face. It was closed when I visited the park.

Hmm, I hadn't seen the blair witch SOB spoof. The coaster looked so new and promising in that video.

My guess would be trashed. I really like it. We just by chance decided to get of Ninja, after a triple ride of not changing seats, and walked passed to find Deja Vu had just opened. So, we only waited 45 minutes at the most, and then lucked out enough to get the front row. It was quite an experience, and I enjoyed it.

Wow, I now feel privelegd to have ridden this coaster during my last visit to the park. I must say, it was a very fun ride, and something like I had never experienced. It was like mixing Face/Off and Tower of Terror at disney. It's a shame the ride came to an end like this, because I really liked it.

I must say, that that coaster is an amazing ride.

I like prime season, or off season. Haunt things never really do anything for me. But, hey, I'm open to anything.

I have a 3 and 1/2 hour drive. Don't complain.

I'm gonna have to agree with the que TV's. Occasionally, I see something I like on there, but, the TV's themselves are often in bad shape, off color, and dirty (well, the outsides of their housings are).

Beleive me, your not the only one who likes it. I loved it the last time I rode it (KIC Day). But, I also understand that it causes most people pain, so some of the proposed names make me laugh.

No, it's the Upsidedownside of them. And, I'm sorry for the bad joke. I'd like an Impulse coaster, they are fun, IMO.

When my youth group visited the park on July 3rd, we had a girl in our group who did Xtreme flyer with another member of the group. Well... The ride was almost over, and they were reaching down to grab the pole to pull you down. Then, out of nowhere, she lost it, it being her lunch. The guy she was riding with, still had his hands out like Superman, having a great time, until he realized what was on his arm. And to add insult to injury, of the rides crew filmed it. She told me that the crew kept replaying the incident over and over again while she got cleaned up. She even said taht a small crowd had gathered around the tv watching her puke.

Do you know who else was bidding, if I may ask, chef?

I know when properly refering to KI, I often want to say "Paramounts Kings Island" However, that is what I grew up hearing all of the ride operators saying.
