More FireHawk Construction!
Airromeo4Ever replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
WoW. Looks like the 2007 season is really shapping up well. I honestly think Firehawk will make a great addition to Kings Island. -
Yeah, Kings Dominion's FOF uses lap bars like the FOF at Kings Island. It was converted the same year as the others, and it's amazing. Verbatim to the Kings Island version but just as thrilling!

I totally agree with Erosarrow05. I live in Newport News, VA (9 hours away), and I make a point to visit PKI and Cincinnati atleast once a year. I love PKI, its the only seasonal park that gives me that full circle feel. They offer just about everything. At the end of each season it doesn't surprise me at all that PKI comes out on top as far as seasonal parks in the USA! I'm sure there are dozens of things each of us would change or improve about the park, but nothing so pressing that bashing the park is nessasary. PKI caters to families, and people who crave a great theme park experience. My advice to other true PKI fans is to just ignore the negative comments. PKI is now the #1 seasonal theme park in the USA and it will be again at the end of this season. The park will continue to grow in a positive direction and gain even more fans !!!

Italian Job Stunt Track is and was a tremendous hit. Just because people who frequent this site, and other so called die hard coaster enthusiast didn't or don't like it doesn't mean it wasn't a hit. Keep in mind coaster enthusiast make up less than 1% of theme park goers. The ride was created for families with small children. I have ridden it twice, and I love it. I have heard nothing but good things about it from regular park goers (which make up about 99.5% of park goers). Were all entitled to like and dislike what we want. Some of us even have the nerve to say we don't like The Beast! Italian Job Stunt Track tops the list of the most popular attractions at PKI, it's not going anywhere. People are still gonna stand in line for hours at a time to ride it, and they are gonna love it. So all of you haters just get over it, accept it, be happy that PKI is the #1 seasonal family park in the nation because of rides and attractions like IJST! Catering to eveyone is what makes PKI a tremendous hit, and sought after vacation destination. I'll say it again, if your looking for cut throat intence thrills go to Cedar Point, it's that simple - Airromeo .

WOW - simply amazing. PKI never disapoints. I honestly believe the Spongebob/Mrs. Puff Boating School Indoor/Outdoor Coaster is gonna show up within the next couple of years. I can't get over how much brighter and festive everything seems now. PKI will once again be the #1 seasonal theme park in The United States after the 2006 season - Airromeo!!!

The Beast is a wonderful ride, I always look forward to the out of control feeling of the helix part of the ride. I kinda enjoy the intensity of that portion of the ride. Night rides are the greatest on The Beast. It's like you have left the park and are on a fast pace ride out to the middle of nowhere!

Whats your favorite park?
Airromeo4Ever replied to Reon's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Outside of PKI I would have to say that Islands Of Adventure is my favorite theme park. Cedar Point will always be my favorite amusement park. -

Jungle Jim's International Market
Airromeo4Ever replied to Gordon Bombay's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
The pics are awesome! I'm looking forward to visiting Jungle Jim's in the near future. I think it's just a matter of time before they start adding other machanical attractions like: flats, kiddie rides, and maybe a jungle boat themed water flume ride. Who Knows. I understand a second scaled down version Jungle Jim's is in development for the proposed Cincinnati Mill Works Retail and Entertainment District in Oakley. Visit Cincinnati Mill Works for rederings and more information. -
LOL - WOW - Let's try to get throught he 2006 season first. I for one dont want to see a floorless coaster come to PKI or any park as far as that goes. The state of Ohio already has the worlds largest and most thrilling floorless coaster (Dominator at GL). I have been on every floorless coaster in the USA with the acception of Scream at SSMM & Hydra at GL. B&M Floorless coasters are nice, but just like alot of other B&M coasters they have little or no forces. Look how Hydra and Scream turned out. They are rarely talked about, and Hydra turned out to be a really big disapointment to many this season. What I would really like to see is a gaint Intamin out and back MEGA or GIGA coaster that somehow ties in with The Beast and Son of Beast Family. Can't you just imagine a giant steelie speeding throught the woods along side The Beast or Son of Beast. PKI is doing an acceptional job creating new rides, attractions, and events for the park. They have yet to fail or disapoint me. If a B&M does come to the park I'm sure it's going to be something out of this world. We will just have to wait and see - ALL FOR AIR 2006 !!!

The Son of Beast is closed for a complete retracking and structural rework. Trust me your kids will enjoy and adore the Son of Beast even more when it reopens for the 2006 season. I know how they feel. Im a huge fan of Son of Beast too, and I plan to visit in a couple weekends. Airromeo4Ever !!!

Kings Island to Overhaul Children's Area for 2006
Airromeo4Ever replied to ZosoBeast's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Paramounts Kings Island just keeps gettting better! Im far from a toddler or preteen, but I am still just as excited. It does't get any better than this! -
I had the oportunity of riding King Kobra for the last time in the fall of 2000. I really enjoyed the King Kobra. Out of the three TOGO models (King Kobra, Sky Rider, and Shockwave) I liked King Kobra Better. Although Sky Rider is identical to the King Kobra. I too wish they would bring it back, you never know, they just might.

These are great photos. I especially love the one of PKI and the Mason area. I hope to relocate to Mason, OH in the near future.

The worst was the opening weekend of Flight of Fear (Outer Limits Flight of Fear at the time) at Paramounts Kings Dominion. Me and my freind waited 4.5 hours. They only had one train and could only load eight people in that train. It was torture, but well worth the wait.

Those are some awesome pics. I unfortunately live all the way in VA, and won't be visiting PKI till later this summer. I can't wait to experience IJST! Let's just say that now I'm offically pumped for the 2005 coaster season! Thanks for taking such wonderful photos Dane!

That would be kewl. I would make a special trip from Williamsburg, VA to attend.

Hey everybody. My name is Jerome. Im new to posting messages on this site, but I have been enjoying the site for some time now. I too am a very big fan of Paramounts Kings Island. I have been in love with PKI every since my first visit in October of 2000. That was the year the Son of Beast opened. PKI has to be the best theme park in the universe, and will always be my #1 park! Now on to what I miss. Well I kinda miss The King Kobra. I know alot of you didn't really care for it, but I thought it was a really kewl ride. Thank God Shockwave at PKD is only an hour away from me. So when ever I need a TOGO fix I just go to PKD and hop on Shockwave. So everyone write me and welcome me to the site. I love PKI just as much as all of you, and I look forward to chatting and maybe meeting some of you one day soon!
