  1. I do not see how pki's management does not see how much a good hyper coaster would do at the park. Just look at Millennium Force. It is 2005. The ride's 6th season, and it will easily get a 1-2 hour line. Millennium Force put Cedar Point really on the map as the best park on the planet, in my opinion. It got international attention. People travel from very far away just to get a ride on MF or TTD. I know I have. I do every year. If Kings Island were to build a tall, fast, smooth, re-rideable hyper or giga-coaster, I know I would be at the park at least twice as many times as I go now. I used to go on opening day every year and generaly once a week. This year, my first trip was in late May. If they built a hyper-coaster(preferably an Intamin), I know for a fact I would go on opening day and almost definently once a week all summer.
  2. If Dragster is running good, you should get in line. As long as it does not breakdown, the line moves really fast. If you figure that they launch a train of 18 people every 30 seconds or so(on a good day), that line will be moving quick.
  3. Well lets see....4 hrs for X in 2003 at Magic Mountain, 3.5 hours for Top Thrill Dragster in 2004, and 2 hours for Millennium Force in 2002.
  4. Coastermania will definently increase the crowds, but not by a huge amount. Obviously, since it is a friday and schools are just letting out, it will be more crowded anyway. Sundays are THE day to go to Cedar Point. I went on a Sunday evening last June for 5 hours and rode more than I did the whole next day. Mondays are crowded at Cedar Point for some reason. Im going in 12 days! Twoot twoot!
  5. Well Surf Cincinnati closed last year and I do not think it will open again, so I dont think I am going to vote for it. I like The Beach the best, mainly because of Aztec Adventure and The Cliff.
  6. I'm surprised no one has yet mentioned Son of Beast. It gets a lot of hype, and yet it is very rough( most of the time at least) and not the most enjoyable ride in the park. It gets my vote.
  7. It is very close to The Beach Waterpark, if that helps any.
  8. Yeah I remember hearing Flight of Fear was going to pull off 2000 pph. There is no way that is hapening now. It seems like the capacity is getting worse every year on that thing.
  9. Wow that looks awesome....really hope I get to ride in the near future.
  10. I agree....I never purchased any chips on my 20+ visits last year. 5 dollars for some chips has crossed the line.
  11. I waited 3 for X and 3 for Top Thrill Dragster. Luckily I got rides on both of them when they weren't broken down.
  12. Sling Shot is as much a joy to watch as it is to ride. I vote for that.
  13. PKI is probably the largest, but do not underestimate Kings Dominion. That park surpirsed me on my first visit. With Hypersonic XLC, Drop Zone, Volcano, and now Tomb Raider, this is a park not to be overlooked. Paramount's Great America, on the other hand, is much smaller. I rode nearly everything in a few hours. Carowind's is also a nice park, and they have really outdone themselves with Borg Assimilator. The theming and much improved capacity definently make it a cut above what stealth used to be.
