Tigey, I could not say it better. Holiday World is a steal of a park. 3 of the best wooden coasters around, some nice flats, great shows for a park of its size, and the water park is insane. Honestly one of the best waterparks thats not free standing I have ever been too. I also agree a Eurofighter would be a nice addtion, but I could see a Mega-Lite fitting nicely.

I enjoy Disney, but I also enjoy amusement parks and coasters as well. Never have I had the urge to pay for an ACE membership, not worth the money and I dont see the benefit to spending $75 for a quarterly publication and a discount admission to the expo. I guess I just dont live the Disney Lifestyle.

I couldn't agree more Terpy. I would say of the different places I have been, things I have seen, and overall experiences. Maid of the Mist is easily in the top 5 for me as well.

I just reread my post, and I need to clarify something: I certainly do not mean for it to look like I'm giving myself a pat on the back. I am hoping that some who cannot afford to bid so high for a seat may do the same. Just because many of us may not get one of those first rides doesn't mean we can't shell out some money for the organization to help these kids. I didn't take it as you giving yourself a pat on the back at all. I just think it is very generous to still donate the money even if you do not secure a seat with a bid. ~RailRider patting gigacoaster2k on the back~

Not sure if anyone has followed the construction of Pilgrims Plunge on HoliBlog or on Facebook, but this thing looks massive, yet a little unnerving at how minimalist the support legs look. Also the lattest says the ride will be topped off tomorrow. I think its going to be another great year for Holiday World.

^ I think we will see more information this year and as a company I would imagine Cedar Fair is trying to get all properties on the same schedule when offering morning ERT. It just makes sense, because then whatever CF park you are visiting you would know that you can have ERT with your pass 30 minutes or an 1hour before the park opens. Becomes more of a benefit that isn't different at every park.

Everyone keeps asking what effect the splashdown will have on speed of the train. Answer very little to no effect. Watch the video of Griffon running through the splash down. Not much speed if any lost.

Some Six parks are not bad, others border on great or are great, and some should not even be allowed to opperate.
