I think those packets were for '05 operating season, I haven't heard a thing about '06 perks.

$10 to park is a liitle much, and I think they could take some of the sting out of it by giving you a coupon for a free soda, or something small like that. Raise it a buck, and give 'em .15 cents worth of soda to keep the customer happy.

I was just wondering if anyone has received the PKI newsletter yet. I was thinking in the past the first one usually arrives a couple of weeks before opening day, and I haven't seen it yet.

Does anyone have an answer for Coastergirl? I was wondering the same thing. I have 10 year old boys who say they have seen Avatar once or twice and they thought it sucked, and they don't remember any skateboarding in it.

Last month the news here in Columbus said our zoo is going to expand from 90 acres to over 600, and may be taking over Wyandot Lake, in a plan to create a tourist destination over the next 10 years. It makes me wonder if they are going to expand the amusement park aspect of the park. Back when I was a kid, before it was Wyandot Lake it was the the Zoo Amusement Park. Right now the zoo and Wyandot Lake share the same parking lot.

Every once in a while I get near blacking out on Face Off, but nothing more than a little tunnel vision. Pretty intense experience.

There should be a forum for SOB bashing, as often as this topic comes up. It's one of my favorites, I rode it 20+ times last season, and plan on riding it more this season.

I just watched it again, and they never mention KI by name, but they do show Kings Island on the front of the log flume. ----(sorry I didn't realize how old the post was when I was reading it)

The only coaster CP has that make it worth the drive is Raptor I think for the most part the rest are overrated, I can't speak for TTD though because it has never worked when I was there (hopefully this year it will) but now it's not a record holder anymore.

With PKI individual season pass you get access to BB plus any other Paramount park for $107. To gain access to Soak City plus all Cedar Fair Parks, you are looking at $154. PKI season parking is $30 compared to CP's $60+. I still think PKI has the best value season pass available, besides I can't complain I bought the 4 or more deal at the end of last season for around $60 a piece.

But he says he moved to FL, and did you know there is another Kings Island according to him? Not to mention almost $8.00 for shipping for something that will fit in an envelope.

According to the podcast for thrillnetwork, rumor has it the land previously occupied by White Water Landing is going to be the home of another roller coaster @ CP in 2007. No details as of yet, but if it's true I wonder which records (if any) they will try to break this time. I guess if it's going to be a big one, construction will have to begin by this summer. Has anyone else heard anything?

When it comes to being rough, SOB is without a doubt the champ, but it is one of my favorites, a visit to PKI is not complete without riding the king of all slobber-knockers at least once.

I think PKI should have an online store (hats, shirts, etc.). I know I would use it.

I was just wondering if anyone has bought KI Monopoly yet? What's on Boardwalk's location? Any other details if you have it. I'm hoping they still have it in stock in '06 because it doesn't look like we're going to make it down for W-fest.

Two other bits of trivia from the pop-up episode: The episode cost $228,000 to film, and Kings Island paid half. Also they refer to the actor playing the manager by name (Mr. Remmington), that was actually the managers name at the time.

We went yesterday from 10a - 3p and the lines wern't bad at all, we rode everything we wanted before 1:30 and walked around waiting for our kids to finish up for a while longer. It was looking like it was getting more crowded as we were leaving. I did notice Delirium was not swinging all the way up, does anyone know why?

I think a tunnel or 2 on SOB could help make it a better ride. It seems like a fairly simple element to add. I wish they would but I don't see it happening.
