  1. Count me in too. I love Son of Beast! No pain when I ride it!
  2. Endless Summer on Ice is easily my favorite show the park has done in a while. Although I did not see Dead Awaking or Hot Blooded
  3. That's why if you don't want to be sprayed by the elephant, you and the other people you are with in the boat duck down, and let the person in the back get hit with all the water
  4. I try to stay as optimistic as possible about things *cough*Son of Beast reopening and Cedar Fair's theming ability to improve*cough* hahaha
  5. Well no, I don't think they would word it like that, but if it wasn't going to be drastically different then they could have just as easily not answered my question at all....
  6. Well on the 5@5 I asked if it would be drastically different than Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle, and they said It will be a whole new dark ride experience...
  7. Some pictures of Woodstock Express' trains have been posted! http://photos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs485.snc3/26543_416978543367_155893938367_5150537_1805316_n.jpg http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs485.snc3/26543_416978548367_155893938367_5150538_7463269_n.jpg http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs505.snc3/26543_416978553367_155893938367_5150539_774438_n.jpg http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=5150537&id=155893938367 not sure how I like the colors.
  8. lol Interpreter you got me there! Let me rephrase that. People call Vortex, "The Vortex" and just "Vortex". Both names, "Vortex" and "The Vortex" would be considered correct
  9. ^ I don't think it really matters? People call it both, and both would be correct I guess.
  10. There is a giant "wooden" barrel where the elephant used to be. Maybe a giant water geyser will shoot out of it.
  11. Whenever I hear someone say turnstile I either think of the ones like in the picture Cedar Pointer posted, or the things in the queue line (I think the correct term for them is switchback, but we always call them turnstiles) But I have never heard someone talk about them being on an actual ride lol
  12. You would think if they were going to just remove Scooby characters from the ride, then they would be able to just do it in house. But they said they are bringing Sally Darkrides in to retheme it.
  13. Roller coasters are specifically designed not to sink. Vortex isn't sinking.....
  14. ^ I'm guessing they would theme it like a raft race at Camp Remote....like in the PEANUTS movie, Race For Your Life Charlie Brown.....
  15. The only one I don't really like is "Snoopy Surf Dog" If they were going to go for a Snoopy Surfer theme, I would have made the name more creative like "Surf's Up! Snoopy" I don't know....
  16. I know it's not related, I'm just saying the parks that have their dark ride included with their Planet Snoopy have all gotten Boo Blasters, ours however is being kept seperate even thought it could easily be included with Planet Snoopy. So maybe we will receive something different. Maybe we won't.
  17. So the new darkride experience will NOT be part of the new Planet Snoopy Area...maybe we won't be getting a Boo Blasters on Boo Hill.
  18. ^ I get what you mean Gator! It's getting old reading posts about how those are other park's ride names, but it has to be said because people aren't listening!
  19. Or.. Those are all the names for the other parks, and ours may or may not be different. You can get to any ride name from any of the former paramount parks, through the Kings Island website....

  21. I'm sure there will be some parents on hand to explain to their kids what the "remote" on the sign means. Planet Snoopy could also be educational
  22. Oh, how I miss Phantom Theater. Hands down one of my favorite rides at the park, when it was still there.
  23. IIRC, we were told that we were not receiving new attractions as part of our retheme when it was announced. Just because we aren't getting a brand new physical ride, doesn't mean we won't be getting a new "experience". When Phantom Theater was removed and Scooby Doo was put in it's place, Scooby Doo was counted as a new ride. Sure it's the same physical ride, but a brand new experience, that was marketed as a new ride. On a side note, is every ride in Planet Snoopy going to be blue? haha http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=5085790&id=155893938367#!/photo.php?pid=5085791&id=155893938367&fbid=396107438367
  24. I'm sure that is what it means, but why phrase it like that? Why not just say "Yes, we are considering options for the waterpark, for future seasons."?
