Thats Awesome! I was hoping, that it might be open today! That way we can sort of expect it to be open Tomorrow! Hopefully when people start posting trip reports tonight, hopefully no one ruins too much of the surprise of what they changed!

So any word from the park, on whether or not this will be open tomorrow? The new facade looks great! I just hope that it is still pretty well themed. When KIC staff members got to go to the park the other day, did you get any details on what the ride is like now?,any theming removed, new program, new theming, new effects? anything along those lines?

I really like how they've updated this section so much! Maybe, just maybe they will start putting POVs back up on the rides, on the main website!

I remember that time we were in line, and it was one of the last rides of the season, and they were having cheering contests, and giving away thing out of the Lost & Found! That was one of the best times I've had while waiting in a line!

Obviously this video was taken on Tuesday, "Only 4 more days until Kings Island Opens", And yet when they showed the clip of Flight Deck's sign, the graffiti on the stupid Club Blood building is still there! Why don't they A ) repaint it, or B ) put a fence around it! Wow, fake graffiti makes the park look great!

Anything else from the park whether or not it will be running on Sunday? You would have thought they would have had plenty of time to make any changes on it, and train people, since it was closed almost all of last year!

So heres my guess about The Crypt, they are removing one row to make it lighter, and more balanced allowing it to flip 10x more! Also giving it a brand new ride program! And if this is correct, why don't they advertise The Crypt "as a toatally new experience, more thrilling than ever!"

Hey, didn't want to start a new topic, so I found one dealing with what I wanted to know. Were these "Paramount Cloumns" removed last year? Well since it's no longer on the map... I'm guessing that the path will be closed.

So In 2009 will the path right there be rebuilt, or is it just closed due to the construction going on around it?

I think an Indiana Jones style one would be cool ( never got to ride the one they had in there for one season that was rarely open).

And the problem with that is?.... People probably won't even start calling it by the correct names untill like 5 years from now anyways lol. Just look at FOC people call it beastie all the time lol

I Really like all the logos so far, the only thing I don't really like, is the Blue lettered "movement" blur type thing on Flight Deck's sign. I think it would look better if it didn't have the blue stuff.

So going by the tradition of the building Scooby Doo is in, Scooby will be removed in 2012, and a new attraction would open there in 2013! Maybe they will bring back a darkride with animatronics, special effects, and 10x creepier than Scooby Doo!

I can't wait to go! Does anyone know what time season pass processing opens on, opening day? I think I'll get to Kings Island around 9:00 9:30

Well, then they were most likely taken yesterday then. between whenever it was taken, and the 20th I doubt Flight Deck will have been painted.

Well, by the looks of this picture, based on the color of the sky, it was taken most likely today. And if you look in the background you can see the grey track, so no as of now it's not painted.

The reason KI kept it up is because it costs so much to take down, and re-build. But i do agree that it makes KI look bad. Hopefully they'll put a tall fence around it. And i wander if it still says "Club Blood" in SOB's crate¿ I mean, I could easily understand if the building was left up, but at least remove the graffiti, and Club Blood sign! That way it could just blend in as a "storage" building.

I really don't like how Club Blood still has the graffiti, and signage still up. It makes it look like the park is too lazy to take down their Halloween Decorations after an entire offseason.
