Yes! That would be awesome, but I would only want it like that for a day or two.

I doubt the Antique cars would be removed if Paramount hadn't closed them! Just look at how many "car" rides Cedar Point has! You don't see them closing their antique cars (not sure what the name is). That area where BLSC used to be amazingly landscaped with ponds, and a covered bridge, and now it's a pile of crap on top of gravel! I would be so happy if BLSC was a) removed, or b)relocated to a better position such as Action Zone where it should have gone in the first place! So much of the space around BLSC is wasted, and they didn't even have to remove the Eagles! I really hope that sometime in the future we get another set of Flying Eagles. Coney Mall could really use some more classic Flat Rides. Such as the eagles, that "Casino" ride, an enterpise, a gravitron, and even a Matterhorn ride.

The old pictures of how the train used to be, make it look like it would be really fun to ride the train when you want a nice relaxing couple of minutes at the park. It seems like it would be enjoyable for all ages! Maybe with the addition of the 2009 Coaster, we will se an overhaul to the train ride, so it gives families something to do over in rivertown, much like in 2003 when we got Delerium and Scooby Doo And The Haunted Castle

They race them almost all the time now! I just went on a not-busy thursday, and they were racing!

Here's the link to my pictures from the trip! Sorry it took so long http://s299.photobucket.com/albums/mm319/K...nav_album_album -
Yes, it was raining slightly that day, and almost every single person just kept going back in line to ride again! It was awesome that day! I still miss the Backwards Racer, but I think I enjoy it now that they actually race them. And get you pumped up to race! It also seems like they've made adjustments so that they race a litlle more evenly now! Now The Racer is a "can't miss" ride again because of how much fun it is! Before, it seemed like we got on it once, but no re-rides. Now we ride 2-3 laps in a visit in a row!

It doesn't really seem like it would be too hard for CF to spruce up some of the buildings back there, and put in a some live actors, and a few animatronics.

In the news letter from KI that I just got, they had a whole section on the train, and a little bit on it's history. So I was thinking that maybe in 2009 the train will have a "show" on it once again. Or at least some theming put back into it. CP's train looks just fine! Maybe we can expect something similar for KI's train. I know this sounds stupid...but CF is trying for the whole nostalgia "theme". Thats weird?..What all did the text say? Or did it just say "the second coming"? I just signed up in case more details are released!lol I've been meaning to sign up for a while now!

Sounds like you had a pretty god time! Although the ride op for Vortex sounds pretty stupid...I wouldn't believe anything he said after saying "Vortex is the tallest steel coaster in the world." lol
-
I was thinking. What if the new theming for this ride is just temporary. If you think about it, all the theming thats been added could easily be used for HH. What if they change it to fit more into Rivertown next season? Maybe make it a mine or something. I doubt it will happen, but you never know... Also they could recycle the Crypt sign, and use it as a HH attraction!!

Yeah TTD was AWESOME! The open air seating just makes you feel like you could fly out when you are 400ft off the ground! The launch on TTD was pretty intense! I wish we could have gone on it again, but we were EXHAUSTED especially knowingwe had a 3 hour drive to look forward to. Do you guys like the pictures? -

Yeah, this was an awesome trip! The majority of the employees were really helpful and nice! So it's nothing to really complain about. Chaos now has to be one of my new favorite "thrill rides". It seems underated since it didn't really have a line both days. I wish Kings Island would get one of these! It could fit in as like a "UFO" ride in X-Base or something lol. An AWESOME 2 days! -
I think it just goes over the locker area and infront of the entrance!

Thats awesome! Who would have thought that the original plans we saw in the first drop magazine were the correct ones all along! I expect an announcement soon! I am so glad we got the behemoth style trains! They look really cool! This ride looks longer than 4,??? feet, doesn't it? Finally Kings Island will get a "first of its kind B&M" with the behemoth style trains AND a splashdown! It also doesn't look like it will interfere with The Beast at all, so thats good! Can't wait until the official announcement!

Thanks! I guess the search button is on the boards for a reason lol.

Well my sister (see kjkjkj & ashers photo trip report for the 26th) and I are going to Cedar Point on July 10th. A thursday. I've been with the rest of my family once about 5 or 6 years ago. However I was still too short to ride all the 54 inch rides (just barely lol) And I wasn't to into rollercoasters then, yet somehow they managed to get me on MF. So now I'll get to fully enjoy riding all of Cedar Points coasters! So I was wandering if you guys have any suggestions on what to ride first, when to ride certain rides. Where to eat in the park. How early before the park opens should we get there. Stuff like that... Also i'd like to know how some people's recent trips with CP have been. Thanks! kjkjkj

thanks! Yeah, it's pretty cool that we get along so well! This trip was really fun. We took our time, and for most of the day the crowds were light in the regular park, and the weather was good, until it started raining!

We were actually saying the same thing while in line for the ride!

We decided to go to KI yesterday. We got up and left, and got to the park at around 10:45. It was me, and my sister (Ashers on KIC) First we went to Rivertown to see if The Crypt was open. Of course, it was closed all day! So we went on The Beast, and rode it 2 times in a row. First in the very front seat, then second in the very back seats. Then we rode the train, just to get on a nice relaxing ride. We then went over to Coney Mall, and rode Flight of Fear, then we went on Racer. We both got on The Blue Racer, and we won!! We decided to go to the car, and eat the lunch we packed. After eating we headed over to the waterpark. We mostly went in the wave pool. However we did ride a few slides, includin Snowy River Rambage, Awesome Aussie Twister, and Bondi Pipeline. We also watched some people on pipeline paradise. Then we decided to go back to the normal park. We went to Action Zone, and went straight to Son of Beast. It was AWESOME as usual! Then we went to FLight Deck. Then we went to Son of Beast again. Then the storm started to pick up and they began to close everything. We got on Adventure Express as our last ride, right before they also closed that. we decided to leave, it was around 8:00, and we decided to just call it a day. This was a very fun trip, and I hope you liked reading our Trip Report! And now for the pictures! In the ones with us in them, we were just being stupid, and making dumb faces! us in the car, heading to KI! the Eiffel Tower, when we got there us waiting for the train, no one told me my sunglasses were bent, and I wore them like that almost the whole day lol the train pulling up us on the train Flight of Fear line stuff in the que for Flight of Fear hill for The Racer Coney Mall, midway Eiffel Tower us in coney mall The monster Slingshot from near The Racer Racer Sign Firehawk from The Racer station Drop Tower and Xtreme Sky Flyer Son of Beast Eiffel Tower us near Adventure Express Coney Mall sign The storm while we were driving home

Well, personally I think Firehawk doesn't take THAT long to load. I'm sure the ride workers do their best to move fast AND make sure everyone is properly in the restraints correctly. I've waited about 50 minutes when all the turnstiles we're open, except about 2 or 3, So i'd say they do a pretty good job. Just think of it like this, would you rather have KI get sued because the workers aren't checking everything thoroughly, and someone falls out and dies, or would you rather wait an extra minute or so!?

what about Steel Fury Gun slinger Brush Fire Steel Thunder
-
I think that would be a good idea if the ride was located else where. But with it's current location in rivertown, that is a VERY bad idea. The way they maintain the themes in areas is okay at best right now, but if they put a futuristic themed ride in rivertown that's over the line!
