^Kinzel and some Cedar Point friends come almost every year to check out the park, Cedar Point cars are usually sighted once a year in the inner lots of Kings Island. He came in 2003 to check out Delirium and I believe I even saw him there in 04. This year I've seen many people walking around in suits but Dick Kinzel has come many times before, so he could've been on just a routine friendly visit that may have had nothing to do with the sale, but I would love it if CP purchased us. Kinzel is a great guy.

Well guys and gals it appears SOB has its two trains back on the track, anyone on the eifel tower or drop zone could have seen it this weekend as I did and now present the photos for. You might say "King maple, that image is blurry and what about the possibility of only 5 cars on the trains this year instead of 6?" And I would say: "Dont fred young lords and lassies this next photo is quite interesting: As you can see both trains are on the transfer track and each only situated currently with 5 cars. The 6th car for each one is a little further back covered up. Enjoy and remember ALL PRAISE THE KING!

I hardly doubt that they are the PKD Volcano seats, unless theyre made to be able to be transfered from ne type of ride to another. I doubt PKI would easily be able to get an ok from the state inspectors to custom put new seats on it. -
^Where you being sarcastic about that being impressive? Alton Towers is a very nice and very beautiful amusement park and that whole area has a rich and wonderful history worth studying. Back when I lived in ENgland though I only went maybe 5 times and it wasnt much to talk about but my last trip to Alton Towers was last year and its a very impressive amusement park. My favorite park in the U.K. though would definently be Chessington's World of Adventure home to one of my favorite coasters Vampire. I did get to ride it its first year before I moved and rode it back in 2002 the season after Vekoma made new trains for it. Its quite a fantastic ride! I've also been to Laronde many many times, Canada is my homeland although I spent most of my teen years and college years here in Ohio and am now an American citizen.

Uhhhh, whatever ya say man. Obviously ya weren't around then. I am not so sure. If his profile is right, the man is 66 right now! Alas, although I hate to admit, I am 66 years old but PKI and amusent parks still bring out the kid in me. I've gone to KI atleast every year reguarly since its been open except from about 87-90 when I was living in England. I was only able to make the trip back to visit it about once those years when visitng family.

Ahhh it seems the former dippin dots guy told you, seems hes retired. I know many people can guarantee on here what you said is not true. You may be confused with the "orange" train this year. THat is one of the trains that has had new seat padding installed that is completely orange. FOF used to have 4 trains with the old OTSR's and I do believe now it still has 3 or 4 yet only runs two and they are rotated every season for rehab. -

^ahem, what knowledge or proof do you have to support that? -
Well they're not doing us curious folk any good there so I thought I'd take the liberty upon my visit down from Calgary: Notice the two men working: Photograph taken Saturday, April the twenty-ninth, two thousand and six after death from the exit pathway of Top Gun. ALL PRAISE THE KING!

Atleast Paramount put money into the park and wasnt letting it rot with trash like KECO. How far back did WAH go? DOes anyone have an aerial map or blueprint?
-
Yes, but have you been to TOverland to ride one? They are quite the fun ride, better than The Italian Job Stunt Track. Wouldnt it be cool to have a mission impossible ride with those bikes?
-
Not that that movie sounds bad, but is there anything else going into the Action FX theatre? Funtastic world looks cool, but I'd like to see something else too.
-
Stand up suspended? Why?
-
I think that has to do with the "land locked" factor and no where else to put anything new.
-
Yeah the topic is beating a dead horse, but no one really knows the park managements plans for the aging, although gracefully, coaster. New trains could be considered a few Vekome coasters have tried out new trains from KumbaK coasters which are supposed to be amazingly comfortable and Arrow and Vekoma as far as I know use the same track type.

^How so? The onyl thing they changed was the sign and the map, losing the words "The outer limits" didnt change it much.

Any idea how old you have to be? I know someone who is quite the skilled musician and may be interested. -
Id tear the eifel tower down and put a nice big statue of liberty replica.
-
Id make a B&M mega coaster and put it back in the woods by Beast, something big and smooth with bright, beautiful red track.

just as bad as your accusations of this topic being "senseless" are just the same moron, we have the right to discuss what we wish here, last time i checked your not a moderator and no mods have closed this site, in fact some have even commented on the topic, its a good question of debate and opinion........the purpose of these message boards. You can post where and what you want and so can we and we have chose to post on this topic, if you dont like it then ignore it, your a typing contradiction. While it would probably be very expensive to purchase new trains for Vortex, it may not even be possible to fit them with lap bars depending on how the trains would have to be designed to fit the track and deal iwth the forces.
-
Heres an idea, if you dont like the topic than avoid it and dont post, geesh some people are amazingly stupid.
-
Looks like it dissapeared again, theyre probably just running minor maintenace on the paramount sites.
-
I assure you this is no editing trick, I dont have the time nor patience to run photoshop or paint from my celeron laptop at the moment, Im currently on a layover waiting for my flight to Toronto.....its just a glitch on PKD's wesbite. See, even one of the sites administrators sees it. And Rollernut, these forums are a place of opinion, paramount parks doesnt pay for PKIC, EPKI, PKD Place or even the more primative designed carowinds zone, carowinds connection, and wonderland fan sites, members are allowed to state their opinions as they wish even if that means condeming a parks decision or policy, they are opinion pages not official park pages, to force opinion and not allow criticism of the park would make fan sites seem like facist dictatorships and I'm pretty sure we are not in 1939 Berlin, yes I do say.

It seems as if screamscape was wrong........again.......because FOF has reappeared on PKD's wesbite. Must have just been a website maintenance glitch. Hurler was missing from PKD's site for a while too and Son of Beast and Beast from PKI's today from about 5 to 7 P.M. Things like this happen sometimes, speaking as aformer PC tech and web designer for Belcan I used to accidently misplace links and pictures when performing routine maintenace. Nothing to write home about....looks like FOF is here to stay and I'm happy to see that.
