I would either request not to have that shift, turn that shift into an all day shift, or chill at the park while I was off, but I certainly wouldn't drive all the way home again if I lived far away.

Well being 18 helps you a lot in this day and age at Kings Island, when I was a manager in games (I was 16) I had some nights where I would have some trouble running into the 5 hr law. There were times where I had to switch people in and out but I had to hurry because I knew that there was the 5 hr rule and i was getting close to it. Now I never got extrememly close to it or hit it, but once I turn 18 things will be much easier because I will take my break when I can, and not when I have to. Also there were a couple 18 year old assocaites in my area and while almost all the time they didn't work 5 consecutive hours it was nice because if you ran into a pinch they could bail you out. (A reason they are happy you are 18) This labor law is enough to make me really want turn 18. Also at 18 in rides you can become a supervisor...good luck!

Well I have never seen anything abnormal or weird and I have been in some pretty dark places in the park (coney arcade) alone and never seen a thing.

^Isn't it hard to do that, man like how do you get into the park on p&g day or toyota, and those are in nice condition so I doubt you got those from a friend or somthing who went that day. all I got to say is wow!

Well as a Mason student I have to agree with those who say that mason does spend lushishly and there are things that don't need to be spent or bought. ex. the expensive front to municiple building that really isn't used. Sadly though it seems that KI and Mason have to get along and they can't go their separate ways. Wouldn't KI be smart to team up with GWL and the Beach in issues like these?

"Better games" What more in games could you want??? We just got that 3pt game last season and there are plenty of games in the rest of the park, i am sure many on this site would agree there are too many games. LOL

Well I don't think even at night KI looks like a cell phone tower...but I do think they could make it look a little nicer at night, hopefully they will bring back those colorful projection lights that they used for winterfest and the end of the season last year. As far as the golden ticket goes I am not sure how credible or "important" it is but we did come in second the last time it was held for games (every 4 years???). We came behind CP who recently refurbished their games, or that is what I hear at least.

If the Back Porch will not be use then it would either be the nick parade or they would double up on a location for the last show i guess???

I was the one that reported that the track could be gone because back in november I passed a truck that appeared to be carrying king cobra pieces at the intersection of ki drive and kings mills road, now I didn't get a good look at it so if a park official said it was still there I wouldn't doubt it.

Also it really doesnt' use up a whole lot of land when you think about it it is quite efficient for the intensity it has. Also what else would you put in that location?

^actually there is a games hanger right next to the ride, it is for games storage, while I have never been in it i know that there is one back there

I agree it seems like there is a lot of work ahead for them and they have to paint it...seems like a lot of work in a little time...we will see if they can do it!!!

^Well no but I was really hoping for it to open in the beginning of the season but now we will only be only left guessing about when it will be opening for the season again.

Yeah it was marathon after the fireworks this guy would always come on and say "thanks to marathon for sponcering tonights fireworks, thank you marathon" I don't know how much they offset the cost of the fireworks though

It is open from Fridays to Mondays but I don't know the hours, I was dumb enough to go up there on like a Wednesday whoops

^Well santa clause thinks its a good idea. LOL My brother got them for christmas and he likes them but I do see everyone's point on them and how dangerous they are.

^I gotta to agree with you there while it isn't necessairy to take you gymshoes off on those rides I especially enjoy doing so because it feels great and kindof makes you fell more free. Well anyway a year ago I saw these shoes in gatlinburg that really had a shock in the back heel, Kindof like these but not as large spring and only on the heel. All though I never got to try them on but they looked pretty cool especially since they were designed to help people who stand a lot.

FirehawkRULZ07 I can't say that your wrong but if you do have inside info you probably wouldn't be out telling everyone, and if you are it probably isn't your best idea.

It is sad that the individual officers are getting sued for this, they have so many tough things to go through on a daily basis with all the different people (some troublemakers) in the park. I know if I had to deal with the risk of being sued just for performing my job incorrectly it would deter me from the job.
