  1. An indoor/outdoor coaster/water/dark ride could work well with the same ride system as the new NightFlight Expedition at Dollywood. There’s even some room behind the building and beside the train which could create some great kinetic energy and fun water features. It could be midly themed to the previous Keelboat attraction with a new story created specifically for Rivertown. That is, if the building needs to stay. Wouldn’t hate seeing it get the axe.
  2. Looks like some healthier dining options this season! Much needed.
  3. Thread bump! And finally, after all this time, it looks like this concept will finally be brought to life at the new Universal Kids Resort in Texas: Link Always wanted to see this concept make its way to KI back in the Nick Universe days. Man, I’m getting old.
  4. Still think a Big Red Machine dive is a banger idea.
  5. I had a nightmare once about a looping wooden hyper coaster. Terrifying.
  6. 125% thrilled. Been waiting for this since I showed up to the park in ‘02 as a ten year old to find my favorite ride closed. Everything so far seems fantastic and I’m happy that it’s not just a reboot/recreation of the original ride. Love the art direction and overall style. Pretty unbelievable this is even happening.
  7. I think Cedar Fair could have. They are/were able to hold their own with Knott’s on the west coast. In a pre- Blackfish world, there was interest in buying/merging with the Sea World parks too. I think it could’ve worked at that time. Not sure if Six Flags in 2026 could hack it, to be honest.
  8. I hope not. At least not in any major, obvious way.
  9. Curious as to what this new show element will involve? Maybe some type of Pepper’s Ghost element similar to the Hitchhiking Ghosts at the end of Disney’s Haunted Mansion? Thinking the reused BBoBH pieces will be the swingling chandeliers and turntable. Looks like we got a glimpse of what was leaked yesterday as well.
  10. Interesting! Thank you for sharing. Think this gives us a clue for the queue line smell effect that was listed in the plans. Looks incredible.
  11. Smash Factory? Or something like that. Totally tracking with you. Can’t remember the name, though.
  12. Was Circus Horrors 3D in the Action Theater? I remember it being in the Festhaus (pre- Panda Express) and eventually in the Enchanted Theater as Carnevil.
  13. Always enjoyed SpongeBob 3D. My favorite was Secrets of the Lost Temple. The Elvira show during Fear Fest was cool too. The park definitely needs more indoor attractions!
  14. Thinking a meet and greet with Puppet Larry from the Encore show is a no brainer.
  15. Pretty sure that’s not true.
  16. I explained it to you above.
  17. Case in point, my wife and I were kicking around the idea of a Cedar Point trip this summer. We have a one year old, so we’re still not sure if we’ll be able to swing it. If I bought one of the ultra confusing pass options with the all parks passport, etc. (specifically with the plan of visiting Cedar Point) I technically would’ve have lost money this week given the new Gold Pass park access, allowing us into Cedar Point.
  18. So I know what I’m buying. Barely a price difference. And in many cases, like this one, there’s often confusion about what’s being offered leading up to the beginning of the season. What do you care what I do with my money? What’s the price difference? Pretty insignificant.
  19. “Got anymore of those Curtain Call episodes?”
  20. Confirmed to be returning in 2026. Not a huge surprise, but still great to see!
  21. This is why I always wait until right before the season starts to buy passes.
  22. Thinking about the timeline for opening. If that info from Reddit is true and programming starts next week (and takes two months), wouldn’t that lineup pretty closely to opening with the park? Unless my timing and understanding are off.
  23. I don’t think the name alone would have made a difference either way. But if the ride experience was better and it actually worked out long term, then yes.
  24. The hype around this ride was absolutely unreal. I was barely six and remember it being everywhere. Truly a different time. It was unbelievably exciting, I just wish the finished product lived up to that hype.
