Hey thanks. Last time I was in the International Restaurant, was for the Firehawk construction tour. That wasn't up on the wall then OR I just didn't notice it.

Quick question. Is the King Cobra's sign still at the parks sign shop? Maybe this announcement could be a new King Cobra.

Remember when everybody on here was figuring out how guests will get to the Action Theater? If you look at the entrance to the Action Theater you can see it looks like they're constructing a path to it. To get to it, you'd have to go around WindSeeker to the right where they built those shelters for the lockers or pop machines. Edit: @CoastesrRZ- I did drive by the park today and saw the crane disassembled in the parking lot next to the ride pieces. So they're getting ready to, "Send in the cranes!".

For 2012 maybe, but not 2011. We already have a flying coaster. Firehawk, remember?

Have you noticed that it looks like the other Cedar Fair park maps too? I could be wrong though. Edit: Dang! Beast1979 beat me to it. lol!

What has Paramount done with Octoberfest? They pretty much killed the German theme even more with a Bayou themed shrimp restaurant. Don't forget Cedar Fair also gave us Firehawk after they purchased the park (yes I know it used to be called X-Flight from Geauga Lake).

My guess is they'll load it on a flatbed truck and transport it to a crane that will already be waiting in Coney Mall. That's what they did for Diamondback.

Actually, I thought the biggest influence was nostalgia. More seriously, the biggest influence is manufacturer's recommendations, especially in Ohio. Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters, the manufacturer of The Racer trains, now does not recommend running them backwards. And, therefore, the park no longer runs recaR as such. It's all nostalgia. Or something like that. By the way, in Ohio, amusement ride owners and operators MUST follow manufacturer recommendations in order for a ride to be licensed. So how come the park ran The Racer backwards for 20 years? Didn't PTC say anything to them at some point during that time frame? Terpy, this was a question from someone on KI's Facebook not mine. I want to answer his question with the correct facts.

No, the collapse happened during a storm overnight. The workers were off work by that time.

And you also get free parking to all Cedar Fair parks too with the Platinum pass. I plan on getting one towards the end of the year.

Maybe SoB will be part of Action Auction next year... NAH!
