I would take two days so you don't feel rushed. There is a lot to do at the park and many of things you will want to do over and over again (Diamondback).

...I've looked at clouds from both sides now From up and down, and still somehow It's cloud illusions I recall I really don't know clouds at all Moons and Junes and Ferris wheels The dizzy dancing way you feel As every fairy tale comes real I've looked at love that way... Joni Mitchell I like that a lot.

haha. My mind works in mysterious ways.

My dad called the next day to say how happy and pleased he was. I wish all ride ops could be this way. It makes the whole ride experience such more personal and enjoyable.
-
Haha. I don't say The Racers when I talk about the ride. I wonder why I typed it? hmmm. Oh well.

I remember being younger and being scared to ride The Beast at night. I started crying and the ride op came over to me and told me not to worry and I would have fun and then he said a couple of jokes. I asked him if he would be there when I got back and he said of course. When I got back into the station he gave me a high five and gave me a small teddy bear that was in the booth for some reason. I still have that bear! I will never forget that!

This really makes me want the theming back. the most I can remember is the billboards around the queue. Flight Deck is really in need of some TLC. And I don't mean the channel!

Those were great pics! Especially the one of the fountains and the fireworks with Diamondback!

and of course right after I post this we get a downpour. Awesome.

We were getting some pretty awesome thunder and lightning earlier here in Ashland. Didn't really rain too hard though. It was just a little windy. I hope everyone that was at the park was alright! I would be freaked out for sure!
-
haha. I'll keep that in mind next time!!

haha. It all makes sense now. -Ashley slapping hand to forehead and then remembering she has a sunburn.-

They were complaining about the loop on SoB also and they didn't want to ride it because people died on it. I gave up trying to explain stuff to them.
-
Def need to change my seating on that one! I think we rode there because it was the easiest to get to without having to walk through a bunch of people haha.
-
ON the bus ride home from the park yesterday I heard people saying that they didn't like Diamondback because it didn't have any loops. They said it was boring because it had no inversions. Ugh.
-
I was in the front of the car in the middle but closer to the front.
-
I sat towards the middle on Vortex and it was painful. The headbanging on the restraints was insane. That was also yesterday.

Everyone has their own opinion about what makes a coaster great. I love steel coasters with hills and airtime. (accept for FoF) and wooden rollercoasters with speed but not painful! First poll! woohoo!

I'm not very close to many of the other seniors so who knows. We'll find out!
-
Friendly ride ops make the whole experience sooo much better!
-
Woohoo! That is Blazer's class of 2009! GO TOMCATS!
-
For me it's that first inversion on Flight of Fear. Gets me everytime.
