Your Banshee Experience
Video is two well known folks at the park. They are a couple and I believe the same age. As for the video it really needs to be edited and more about the ride. I really did not get much from it. Others tell me this ride is amazing and many ride it over and over. More enthusiasm please!!

Haunt 2012 reviews
Posted Today, 01:48 AM There was a shorter guy walking on stilts around AZ, and I stood next to him. He turned around and noticed that I was as tall as him. When I get the picture from my friend, I'll show you all. All 3 shows were great! Also, the leaf camoflauged guy by DB hid behind a tree next to Rivertown Junction, and sent a girl to the ground by simply saying a robotic "Boop!" He was great, as well as the guy at the front. "Can I help you...into a coffin? Bahahah!" "Take a picture...it will last longer than YOU!" The guy in rivertown is a BUSH and yes he does an excellent job with that goofy suit!!! Funny how some of the worst costumes on the right people seem to work. As for the fake chainsaws = if a scareactor can take something that fake and get scares....well that seems to me to be a very good scareactor!!!

Doug Apple, head supervisor at BLSC, has passed away
I never had the honor of meeting Doug but I would like to offer his family and friends my condolences on his death. People like him are rare. Even thought people do not look at me as a member of the Kings Island family, I consider the people a part of mine. Kings Island and the thousands of people that have worked or even walked through the gates are special. This man sure sounds like one of the great ones that enhanced not only the park experience but the work experience. Kings Island's charm come from people like him. To those that knew him I offer my condolences to you on your deep loss.

Kings Island's Biggest Hidden Secret
I agree with the Fans of Kings Island Entertainment website is totally awesome. I get most of my information there. Kirk does a great job with his reviews and articles. His end of season column from last year had me a little teary...it is well worth a look see. Kirk has some wonderful inside information that is posted as well!!! I do totally agree about the shows!! They are all excellent - well the ones we have seen so far this year. Brian Carlucci, Jeremy Braley and Haylee Dobkins, among others just as amazing, do an amazing job with their singing in American Country....Peanuts Party in the Plaza has children and adults alike out there dancing and just having a party at the Bandstand....Way Too Much TV is a wonderful journey into the past and gives the younger generation a peek into it! We also caught Signed, Sealed and Delivered and found it was better than last year. We used to go to the park and decide which ride we would do first and now I find myself checking out the show schedules and planning my trips around them!! Guess you can call me a Kings Island Entertainment junkie lol. They are really just that good!!! Where else can you go and see all of that talent for the price of an admission to the park?? I have heard mixed reviews about the Dinosaurs exhibit. If you go into it for what it is you will enjoy it. Everything is set in a beautiful park like stroll. The animals are into the woods just enough so that it feels like you are coming across them in nature. Each Dinosaur has an information board with several being interactive so that children/adults alike can control the dinosaur. I am NOT a major Dinosaur fan but I did totally enjoy this path. To me Kings Island is growing and giving visitors a great diveristy of things to do. Educational, thrill rides, and awesome shows seems to me like Kings Island is reaching out to give everyone a wonderful experience for their money.

Trip Report 6.8.11 - 6.9.11
I went on the 13th and luckily had a great day with my daughter and two of my granddaughters. We caught some shows and got to see a few of our haunt friends. It was an all around great day but all of my days at Kings Island are like that lol. I am so happy you had a great day with your family as well!! We are going again Sunday for Father's day. Hope to see you then!

Festhaus and Oktoberfest
I agree 100%! My favorite dining experience at Walt Disney World was Biergarten at Epcot. Make the Festhouse like that and add a german themed flat ride to the area and it would be great! Me tooo 100% To the German feel to it!!!!! Bring in some great german food and leave the shows alone for the most part. I do NOT care for jazz but can at least tolerate Country. I spent a lot of time in Feshaus watching the shows as most people that see me around know.

Action Theater
I do not agree with yet another upcharge. When does this crap stop? I can undertand the DINO because of the circumstances but not another upcharge. There are four things now with an upcharge. People pay about fifty dollars to come to the park....if they want to experience everything it will end up costing no less than additional fourty dollars per person...that is if the Slingshot is at a reduced rate. If they are taking out the motion chairs and likely will charge for the 3D glasses like they did during Haunt.....come on enough is enough. Just close it down and keep the building for Haunt alone. Sorry but the park needs to realize with gas prices going up constantly they need to concentrate on giving us a reason for traveling and stop adding more upcharges. I do not do any of the upcharges at all. I MIGHT do the DINO trail ONCE but likely will not walk it again. Maybe it would be a smarter thing to concentrate on selling DINO merchandise which would likely net them more money than to charge more to see a 3D movie. I do hope they give us an opportunity to bring in our own 3D glasses lol.

2010 Halloween Haunt Reviews
The guy in the lower left is Kevin or commonly known as "Hannibal" He was in Death Row a few years back as Hannibal. Without the make-up he is dead on the original actor.

How far do you live from the park?
I am 38.7 miles away. Depending on who is driving - me it takes 45 minutes but my husband makes the trip in 30 minutes lol. Clearly we know who has the heavier foot! Interesting to see how dedicated folks are to an amusement park. I do not go as often as I once did but during Haunt I do not miss a night!!

New Screampark in Lexington, Ky
By the way this place is just over an hour away from me. People might think....ohhh too far and I am one of them but folks I AM going back for at least one more visit and possibly two. Tyler has given me permission to take pictures before it opens because I was sooo taken with the castle one which is his personal favorite as well. It is like being on the set of the MUMMY. One more detail on the Insanity - it does have the lighting effects but not that annoying noise that death row has. We got confused and disoriented easily with the way the maze is set up. I kept trying to get through a dead end because you could not tell if there was an opening or not lol. There is also a true story of someone getting hanged in that location. They do not tell the visitors that. Tyler just happened to mention it to me. I did catch something on pictures. They are going to have an investigation done on the place after Halloween. I would be real interested in finding out what they find. Someone had an experience in one of the mazes. A female felt her breath was being taken away as if she was being choked. Anyone that is sensitive can pick something up in there too. Will not give that info out because it is better to feel that for yourself. I did pick something up. Pictures taken reveal tons of "possible" orbs. Because there were a lot of people walking around most was likely dust but there were some interesting ones we got that I would suspect are just a bit more than mere dust. I suggested they get a digital tape recorder to see if they can pick something up.

New Screampark in Lexington, Ky
My youngest daughter and I were personally invited to this park by the main owner, our old friend Hauntguy. Ok with everything there is a lot of hype, especially for the first year. This place really lives up to that hype!! This is all indoors in an old building. They have roamers that are sure to scare - they sure scared me!! I know easy to do right but when they scare my youngest daughter that IS saying something. There are three haunted mazes inside of this building. The Abyss was the first needed a few extra things added that I did suggest to Tyler but it was still really good. I got several scares in there not knowing where or in what direction they would come. One of his managers was up in there scaring too and having a blast from what I could see lol. The next haunt is a castle. The design of this was the best I have ever seen. It was so realistic in all sections from the start, the crypt and the literal graveyard with dirt, graves and swampy water. Mind you this is done inside a building. I was totally taken back by the detail that went into everything and was completely in love with it. There is something in the middle of it that had me nearly jumping out of my chair and also got my daughter as well. Won't give that away! The scares are all over the place as in the last maze. The way things are set up people/objects are coming from all directions. I never knew where things were going to pop out, run at me or jump from the ceiling. Finally the Insanity is just that i n s a n e. It is similar in design to death row at Kings Island with a twist. It is like one of those little puzzles you try to figure out on paper only this is real. We went down several paths that we had to retrace our steps when we ran into a dead end. We would see others seem to get through and run into them coming back to the trail we were on and looking for yet another path. Things are hanging from the ceiling, crazy people are running amok all over and it seems like this one never ends. I started to believe that crazy woman that kept begging us to take her with us that she was stuck too. Another crazy is running around saying that we will never get out again....this was freaking awesome and the favorite of most visitors. Good day to go is on a Friday night. Saturdays you can expect hour waits for each house. There is a small place to get some food and drinks - cash only folks - no plastic. No Kidding we had a fantastic time here!!! Kings Island is a great place and everyone knows how much I love that place but this one can really give them a run for the money on scares. I would love to see something like the castle one!! Take some time off on the off nights of haunt and check this place out!! Sure is worth the trip. Hauntguy did a great job on this one!!

9/25/09 First Haunt Night PTR
Great pictures!!! Actually if you went through more than one or two mazes then you would find that Haunt is awesome!! I don't ride any rides during haunt because I go there for "Haunt" only during that time. To me riding the coasters is for the rest of the year. Try going to haunt and doing all of the things associated with the event and see if you might possibly like it better?

KI TR 9/25 HH
I was not able to stick around long tonight but did get to check out slaughter house too. I was a great scare but I kept getting stuck and it was hard trying to find out whch way to really go. One of the girls in there scared me so badly that I did not think I would stop screaming!! I got stuck and held up the line a bit but thankfully my buddies in there teased me about it made the entire thing worth while!! Tombstone TerrorTory was alot better this year! It seemed like every single turn there was someone jumping out at me or coming after our group. I will not get too detailed on this one but there are people in places you would not expect to see them. Happy to see Scott is back as the host of the green train again and some of my favoites are on the trail. There are a lot of new ones this year too. I think they all did a great job. Mostly walked around but had a great time. The roamers and creepers are great again. This is my favorite part of haunt. No matter where you go or what you do there is always something lurking around the corner. I like the new look of the creepers. The down side to their costumes is that in all white they are real easy to see. Darker colors are much better because you can not see them coming and only know they are around when they slide past you. My videos will be posted on YOUTUBE after the weekend. I only had a few minutes to post here as we are getting ready to visit again. Will be at Haunt most of the day Saturday with my favorite haunt buddy and going back again for the kiddie part with my grandchildren. With the great savings on next year pass sale going on we are getting it all done this weekend. I already have mine!! Check out that sale! Only $69.99 per person, free parking and upgrade to Gold It is only good for this weekend! Now this is only if you have a 2009 pass. Don't forget they have the "wall of monsters" every Friday night!! Massive monsters from every direction!!

Trip Report - numerous days
yea that was Sharon's daughter lol omg that was funny!!! I was just sitting there and suddenly the crowd opened up and I got a hug!!! I nearly fell off that chair. After he left I discovered it was Paul and was soooo tickled!!! I love you guys so much too!!!! Ok Sharon not coming back is a bad thing??? Lolol kidding. They got her good in worksite the last night - we kept waiting for her to come out of this trailer - omg she was screaming and suddenly we saw her running out of there and the scareactors busting up laughing!!! Good times!!! Gator you were freaking awesome!!! I did club blood walking because the manager was concerned for my chair and my personal well being. He was sooo nice. There are a few in there that had been bugging me to go in there and it hurt to see their crushed but understanding faces. Could not disappoint such awesome folks so I did it. Things were worked out for me so that it was safe and easy for me to handle it. Welllll until I got in there. Ohhhhh it hurt like crazy as I got near my chair then suddenly Kaleb scared the crap out of me - I screamed then laughed so hard!!! The last weekend was sooo sad. I got so many hugs and promises to come back next year!!! Some of us will meet up here and there. Message me if you want to get together or just keep track!! There is not one scareactor or worker at KI that I would not just love to keep in contact with!!! I have myspace and facebook - message me for links.

Trip Report - numerous days
I wanted to wait until the last weekend of Haunt but am kind of busting at the seams here! This year has been a lot better than last - better make up, better attractions, awesome changes what can I say? The only attraction that I have not done is the trail of terror and that is because I was spending so much time trying to drive the KI Scooters through it that it is very hard to enjoy the scares. The scareactors have always been great in there but the path is just not really passable for scooters or wheelchairs - hope changes happen in the future! Sorry folks!! A run down for this year: WorkSite is awesome. A new scareactor was added on the 25th that gave me some real big scares in his other location so I would highly suggest checking it out! The sherrif of that place is not one to mess with either!!! Great job. Loved the many places that you would not expect a scare actor to be yet somehow they were jumping out and giving some great scares! CornStalkers - loved the new location. During our Survivor game this is one location we felt would make a great place for a scare zone!!! This is longer and gives more places for the scare actors to hide. The added "crazed farm folk" really added to this one. Less actual cornstalkers with the added farm folk made this a much better scare zone!!! Cemetery was freaking awesome!!! You could not tell if you were looking at people or statues. Some I thought were statues moved and started to walk toward us! There is a really tall guy in there that gives me major creeps with the way he moved. One of the times I did that one the make up people followed me - shocked me that they knew who I was! Can't say too much without giving up too much info but this is definately a great haunt and a must see!! Lines move fast!! Without giving too much away my buddies - and they know who they are - will definately give you a massive scare in this one!! Massacre Manor - GREATLY IMPROVED from last year. Scareactors were jumping out from every direction!! We had a fantastic time and received awesome scares!! I was starting to believe them when they said I was not going to get out alive! Club Blood - wow a much better attraction this year than last!! The scare actors are really into it!! The jumper scared me so bad that I was shaking through the rest of it!! Little stinker female buddy told me to go in this particular direction - next thing I knew there was a FACE out of the dark that had me jumping out of the way!! This is not a spoiler because several direct people in there - you just never know which one is leading you astray!! I kept looking for GATOR and when I found him I nearly fell over!!! He actually knew who I was and that was out of the chair!! I expected a young kid and got a BOUNCER - this guy will intimidate!! Death Row - I only visited this one once and was not impressed. The guy that took me around was kind of rude to me. The one walking the queue line, Mike, was awesome and teased the crap out of us. Jon the guard at the entrance did a fantastic job. I just kept running into walls and getting stuck. I would suggest giving the "guide" a little bit more training on wheelchairs. Some of the scare actors were great as well!! I usually love death row and I am sure that this particular day was not a good one for them. Urgent Scare - awesome new attraction!! Lines are always shorter after midnight on Saturdays and on Fridays after about ten pm. There are scareactors up and down the queue lines that do a fantastic job. They have an excellent use of props in the area, bounce out of places you least expect and often can be seen in the lines themselves!! Once inside it amazed me how long this one was!! Every place we went just kept getting more and more intense. Great use of scareactors and the props are probably the best in the park! The first time I got sooo sick that I felt like my stomach would add to the attraction!! Once outside this attraction just keeps going!! The only thing I would change is to lighten the use of the water in the decomtamination zone! On a nice day that is fine but when that temp hits freezing NOT GOOD! The scareactors do a great job in this attraction!! Carnevil I have not done so far this year but judging from the lines it does not disappoint! Hope to do this one before the end of haunt. Red Beards Revenge - yes this is also improved from last year. Easy to get through for me and scares at every turn!! Again another attraction that has things in here that you can not tell if it is real or not. I had an absolute blast in here!! The host was fantastic! He added this awesome accent that just helped set the stage for this one! Scareactors apparently take their pirating job very seriously - enough said!! Tombstone TerrorTory - I have to say that this is always my favorite attraction. We always catch Scott's train as he likes to embellish the story each time which keeps it fresh. He loves to give the saloon woman a name as wally sparks shoots her dead. The woman's name can change and often I seem to hear my name mentioned. The lines go rather quickly and the host - Alex does a great job of explaining things as we walk through the opening. Scare actors seem to be in different spots each time we visit this one and I have noticed a few additions from last year that really add to the scare factor. It seems this trail never ends and I have observed some people that seemed to want to jump over the railing into the field to get away from scareactors!!! Some woman in there keeps trying to gift me this lovely spider!! I have a horrible fear of them! Loved the cowboy argument last night. If you did not do this attraction, well I hope that fight is still in it! Now for another favorite - ROAMERS and CREEPERS. There is simply not enough I can say for the fantastic job these folks do!! They are allowed to pretty much roam all over and I have just as much fun being scared by them as I get watching them scare others. Without giving away names here I will say that one will squat and not move an inch. Suddenly he is up and running like the wind!! The ones in the suits (creepers that slide) omg you never know where they will come at you!! I had a few literally slide up to my face and scared the crap out of me!! The king of gobblins walking around and suddenly in your face!!! A few goblins with either a red/yellow face and one with a green face that I just never knew if they saw me or not until they were in my face!! A walking tree - enough said. A cross dresser, uncle Henry in his costume scaring people just walking!!! He was walking out of their makeup zone - not in his scare mode but just walking. Some people saw him and screamed as they ran off into Action Zone!!! Added scareactors are the unicyclist!!! The one rides around with that erie laugh has me every time!! Others have their own ways as well!! One thing I need to point out - it is a major pet peeve of mine. I had to literally call park security on the 25th. There was a unicyclist trying to do his best to scare people and doing a great job. Some punk kids kept taunting him, trying to push him off of his bike and just being total jerks!! Where are the parents? None of those boys were over 12 years of age yet they were allowed to walk the park acting like little thugs? How brave was that?? Ohh go taunt a guy doing his best to give you a great experience and is not allowed to touch you. He was trying hard to just itnore them but I was not. I screamed at them to stop. They just yelled some obcenities at me and continued on. Park Police talked to them and I did not see them taunting the unicyclist any more. Sad that parents allow their children to act in this manor. It is also sad to see visitors taunting them - how big and bad is that? If they do not scare you - oh well go about your business and let them be. Why go to haunt if not to experience the full fun of haunt? My question is this. Do you realize how really stupid you look trying to act all big and bad to a person that everyone in the park knows can not touch you? Yea real brave there bud. Just don't let me see you doing it because wheelchair or not I do not tolerate that in any form and will do my best to stop you! There is not one scare actor at the park that does not mean the world to me! If you only knew how wonderful these people really are personally - you just cheat yourself. Well that is my trip report and my soap box. If I missed an attraction let me know!! Please make sure to check everything out as this is really the best value for your money around! Get your tickets on the net at pki.com!! Friday nights are only $19.99 and all day Saturday trips are only $25.99! If you see me - please feel free to come over and chat!! Some of those that I have seen include fanofbeast and his sister - total pleasure, a few I can not think of their names on this site - sorry brain fart! One of the youtube folks - redgartershows and I have had great chats, ItalianChef came over and introduced himself. So many have stopped me to chat and I always totally enjoy it! If I am on the cell phone or talking to someone - hey come on over anyway!!! One scared me while I was talking and the person on the other end just asked which one got me that time!! I had the cutest little worker came up to me, hugged me, said a few things then walked on. Never met her in my life but thought that was so sweet! Lots of people from this site work haunt - thanks so much for a fantastic haunt experience - I certainly hope you keep in touch and come back next year - my cell phone number is on facebook under my profile...im me if you want it.
