  1. Yes, the scooby doo ride is running, but there are NO changes at all inside. If anything, some of the more SCARY effects have been turned off. Other than that, no change to the theme at all.
  2. Did anybody mention the Superman Theme?
  3. Just got back from opening day for Winterfest with CoastersRZ. Some Winterfest notes: The Mayor of Winterfest leads the parade each night in an antique car! The stars on the top of the tower turn on and off during the parade. The tower itself turns into a rainbow of colors during the parade. A radio station actually sets up shop each night in a section of IS called "Winterfest Radio" Other park news: Slime maze is almost gone. About half of it still stands Ghoaster Coaster as well as the kiddie rides behind it are all gone. The mini train ride is still there. The theming to Flinstone's Boulder Bumpers is gone. To see the latest pics of Winterfest as well as the demolition of Slime maze and Ghoaster Coaster, click right here!
  4. I was really impressed with everything. The attention to detail is UNREAL! I was really shocked with the fireworks.....ALL of them....
  5. And I wonder how CoasterRZ knows this? (WINK WINK)
  6. NO WAY! I dont want your spirit anywhere NEAR me!! Kidding!
  7. Well I took my kids to the park today so they could say good-bye to HBL. HBL was a crazy zoo! People running into people, strollers running over feet! It was just CRAZY!! Lines or not, I took many pictures of my kids either on or in front of stuff that will not be there next year. At one point, I had them sitting on each of the benches that had a HB cartoon on it, a guy walked up and asked me why I was doing it! He seemed rather shocked when I told him the news. We went up the tower, which I noticed has recieved a "good crew" flag. I was thinking it was going to be a tad bit cold up there! But the weather was PERFECT! Now, if the rain could simply go away right now, it would make for a better last day. But regardless, I will be there from open to close today! See ya up there! Bill PS: Make sure to check out the new pictures of the park I posted this morning. Right here!
  8. But I thought Deli and SOB were down for the rest of the season!? They are but those arent the two best, and Klockster doesnt work at Beast or Flight of Fear. ummmm....I know that my man Klockster works at Vortex. I chose those 2 rides since I already knew they were down for the rest of the season. Maybe me need some sort of SARCASM indicator?
  9. But I thought Deli and SOB were down for the rest of the season!?
  10. I will be there both days, crowds or no crowds, rain or no rain. I printed out my 8 tickets at work. Sometimes you can have the best time you ever had at the park, even if its crowded to the max, if your with the right people! One time, me and the guys were at the park from 9am to 1am and only rode a total of 5 things, but it was the very best time I ever had in that park.
  11. I went last night as well. A perfect fall day to go. Ride lines were short, except Deli, Beast and IJ. That was until the last hour. The Beast still had its line, but IJ was a straight walk on. Got 6 rides in on that. The line for Headless Hallow was going all the way back past the potato works, almost near the entrance to TR:TR! But we waited for only 20mins since the train is such high capacity. There is a new un-named haunt installed as well. At least it is new to me since I didnt see it there LAST Friday. It is in the path near the front of slingshot. The fog is SUPER think in that area so it covers up Deli. If you go, I would HIGHLY suggest watching Deli run from the exit of Top Gun. The fog effect with Deli running thru it was very cool looking! Bill (AKA IJST fanboy per Klockster)
  12. The logo has been like that all season.....Lets just say that the sun has not been to kind to our giant frisbee!
  13. I was there as well! I seen both Italian Chef and CoasterRZ. CoasterRZ was standing in line for IJ right behind me but I wasnt 100% sure it was him, but now I do! I seen pkiboy boy as well. I DID however get to ride Deli! But the weird thing, it felt MUCH shorter than the last time I rode it. Am I just seeing things? And as everybody said, the park was DEAD!!! Count from Yesterday: Italian Job: 11 times Beast: Once FoF: 2 Dodgems :2 Deli: 1 Something I noticed on Italian Job, because it had NO LINE, some of the ride ops would open up the exit gate if you asked and sneak you back into the line again, while other would not. They would make you go all the way around and back into line. I would think that this would be a all or nothing sorta of thing. I mean, why would THIS ride op do it and THIS one would not. I like The Beast. (starts crying) Bill
  14. Ryan was using his cameras Night Shot function. No light was needed!
  15. Yep! Funhouse on the left, Elivira on the right. Funhouse being the much better show IMO!
  16. Hey CoasterRZ, I am glad you liked hanging out with us. I cant believe how fast the day went by! Captain Nemo, my favorite Fearfest haunt is RL Stein's Fear Street. I love the whole idea behind it.
  17. Did we ever find out what this guy was complaining about to begin with?
  18. As a follow up, it will be worthless to email Maureen about the NG Video Shoot as she has enough people for both days. Just letting you all know.
  19. If I remember right, the date on the envelope was from May.
  20. OK guys, I have a mission for you...... A couple years back, I found a picture of Yogi Bear inside of a gas station buying a 12-pack of Moutain Dew. It was one of the funniest pictures I have ever seen. Has anyone seen this picture floating around the net at all? The story goes, some people took the Yogi costume out of the park for a couple hours and dressed up and did stupid stuff in it and took pics. I would love to see this pic again....any ideas?
