I am pretty sure it is still in a bunch of pieces in the back of the park. And did they ever get that mini train ride working again?? Also, I think the park was only open the 3rd day last year because ACE was in town for Fall Freak Out.

Strickers Grove, located in Ross Ohio, is open to the public just a couple days a year, The Fourth of July, and Family Day which is always the second Sunday in August. Here is the information that Debbie over at Strickers Grove wanted me to pass along to all of you interested in attending this 4th of July! Strickers Grove is open from 3-11. Fireworks start at 10. Parking is $4 Admission to the park is free! If you wish to ride, you can buy individual tickets: 1 ticket = $1 6 tickets = $5 13 tickets = $10 An all day ride bracelet = $12.75 Each ride is 1 ticket except for the tornado roller coaster which is 2 tickets. I put up a small website full of pictures I took of the park last year when I visited. You can check out those pictures right here! If you get a chance, ride the very back seat of the Tornando! I actually got my cup for free for going the to the very first Season Pass day. Then .99 to refill it when I flash my pass! You might think it is a pain to carry all day long, but when it is in my backpack, out of my way, the cup is well worth it!

I was in the tower on Memorial day and it was still there, but a lot can happen in a week!

As I said in a previous TR, the power hour for May 27th STUNK! It was like the whole crew didnt wanna be there! I did however get the pleasure of seeing Brad fall flat on his butt as he was picking up garbage under The Beast! I do, however, give him props for a quick recovery!

Was there last year and there is no fricking way in the world I will miss this year! NO WAY!!

Ok, did anyone else laugh when they got done reading that? To think they closed an amusement park for an entire weekend day, just so park officials can talk about a ride? I cant seem to stop laughing for some reason.

You are correct. It was in the park issued newsletter. But as you can tell, Top Gun still looks bad. Almost makes you think they skipped re-theming it since it might be the ride leaving? It does make you think!

Just a warning, this TR has some spoilers from the School Of Rock show in it. If you dont want to know anything about the show, dont read any more! Went to the park for a few hours last night just to catch the new show. School Of Rock does it right! The production of this show is much better than Magic Of The Movies. The music is loud and even though there were not many in the crowd, those that were there were totally into the 9:00 show. I was amazed at how many songs they can throw into such a short show! Nirvana, VH, Def Leppard just to name a few. I am HUGE fan of Led Zeppelin and for them to OPEN and CLOSE with a Zeppelin song just put this show over the top for me! I will see this show again! It was like going to a concert for me. The crowd was into it big time! A few pics of the show are here and here! As for the rest of the trip: *A huge rainbow was going over the park as we walked in! Check out those pics here and here! *Power Hour on The Beast tonight STUNK! HARD!! Brad, dont think I didnt see you fall down that hill while you were picking up trash! *IJ has 3 trains now. They were doing a PERFECT job of moving people A train would ALWAYS take off as a train was coming out the billboard. One of the 3 does not have its lights working. IJ in the dark ROCKS! While standing in line, you can see the glow of the fire on everyones faces! No ticket was needed to get on it tonight.

So you know John Kiesewetter? Where from? My point being, he is a pretty well known member of the media, and if he wanted to ride it this past Sunday, something tells me he would have been able to. Off to the park.......
