  6. I just had to share this picture with you all. Combatstupendous89 was nice enough to share a great shot he took of The Beast tonight with PKIC. It is very rare that we take pictures from the outside, but this is one picture that I felt needed to be seen! Much thanks Ronny! Click here for the pic! Bill
  7. I seen MORE floats. I seen more Characters. I seen them dancing! Ummmmm, maybe you had your back to it? It also seemed to last just as long as last time.... It was a GREAT show imo!
  8. No idea on the name. I did however grab a picture of her, with her permission of course. I thought she was cool because as we were getting on the Round Up, I, as a joke, asked her to make this the longest ride of the day! And sure enough, we were up there forever! There was no line to speak of, so I guess she decided to leave us up there until someone showed up! Here is her pic.
  9. A good chunk of the PKIC staff will be going to the park on the 19th! Met the coolest ride op last year when I went..... Here is hoping she is back again this year! Bill

  13. We seen it last Sunday as well (the 3rd) for the 7pm show. Was "sold out" if you will! It was the first time I seen the theater FULL! I like the other stage manager better. It was my 9th time seeing it. Sad....... Very very sad......
  14. On Saturday, we had one video camera inside the park and one video camera out in the parking lot, set up on a tripod, on top of the hood of a car. On Sunday, we had 2 video cameras inside the park and another one set up 1 and 1/2 miles down the road to get the full picture. As well as a Forth person taking pictures during the 2005 Nick Parade! Talk about a FULL weekend!

  19. PKIboy, once again, you are wrong! YES, The Beast and Vortex both closed at 8:00 for the fireworks, but NO, they both did NOT open up afterward.
  20. pkiboy, where oh where do you get your information from? First, both chains from Beast work from one gear house? Now this? While filiming the IJST from the top of the tower, I timed it. From take off to final break, 1:00-1:05 seconds MAX!

  22. I am pretty sure it is still in a bunch of pieces in the back of the park. And did they ever get that mini train ride working again?? Also, I think the park was only open the 3rd day last year because ACE was in town for Fall Freak Out.
  23. Strickers Grove, located in Ross Ohio, is open to the public just a couple days a year, The Fourth of July, and Family Day which is always the second Sunday in August. Parking is $4 Admission to the park is free! If you wish to ride, you can buy individual tickets: 1 ticket = $1 6 tickets = $5 13 tickets = $10 An all day ride bracelet = $12.75 Each ride is 1 ticket except for the tornado roller coaster which is 2 tickets. I put up a small website full of pictures I took of the park last year when I visited. You can check out those pictures right here! If you get a chance, ride the very back seat of the Tornando! You will be in for a treat! See you at the Grove, Bill
