Your right, I see parents let their kids run wild at water parks and can't believe it. I'm sure there will be an investigation and I hope Kalahari had enough lifeguards on duty, they have been fined for that before. Someone said it took them over 5 minutes to find the parents, they were nowhere near the kid!

I'm sure if a lawyer would have been around they would have been handing the lady a business card telling her to call! In town here they hand out business cards at the scene of traffic accidents, it's sad!

I'm not sure why, but the Sandusky Register published a list of all the law suits filed in Erie County Common Pleas Court against amusement/water parks in Sandusky. I know that Cedar Fair settles most of their cases out of court, but I don't know about Great Wolf & Kalahari. Rides like Demon Drop will do that!! It pretty much emptys everyones pockets when you lay on your back at the end of the ride! It's great the ride operators don't just scoop it up and take it home, it goes to a good cause!

Could have been a resident on Cedar Point Road, they drive over the causeway to get home. Or a CP employee heading to the dorms after a night of drinking at Louies Bar (a CP employee hangout). Or could have been someone who was staying at Hotel Breakers, Camper Village, Lighthouse Point, Sandcastle Suites, or the Marina.

Those seat belt connectors serve as connections for a special type of restraint that is used for guests that lack both arms and both legs, the same restraint can be fitted to The Beast trains as well. A special restraint fits over the head of the guest and connects to those two seat belt ends and an end under the seat too. I had no idea that's what those were for, but it makes sense. I don't think Cedar Fair uses these anymore. They have a much stricter policy on handicapped/disabled guest riding rides. If you can't hold on and sit up on your own they will NOT let you ride!

Yes, at CP food prices have already went up once this season & another increase is on the way! I am sure they will sneak in a parking fee increase like they did around this time last year as well. So if your going to a Cedar Fair park in the next couple weeks, you better bring along some more $$$ !!!
