The Smurfs where great back in the 80's I don't think they need to be in the park today. They would not fit in at all. Also not sure anyone knows but if you have Boomerang you can still see the Smurfs or the free spot on chanel 99 on digital cable in N. Ky. Also didn't the Smurfs just get Nuked?

Its a good family coaster slow and short.

Okay did SOB have track work this past off season? Its a good ride I just don't think that wooden coasters should go that fast. The last ride I had on SOB I was in the front seat it keep jumping up off the track and hitting hard back on the track four times. Everone tould the people running the ride when we got off they said yeah its rough. The area that this happend was after the loop. Also did someone also post about this in this past off season?

Paramount really droped the ball on this one. They let all of the plants die off, Plus Coney Mall has gone down hill alot also. They took down alot of trees and replaced with nothing no shade on a hot day. Also Paramount is know for letting themed rides go and not fixing them.

While I was at PKI last time I took some pictures of the south pie area ride signs. I will post them soon. Sorry it took so long my computer went down and just got it back 3 weeks later. I should have them up by the end of the week on my site.

Would you like a new ride or a campground not used by many? I think the public would like a new ride do you? Who knows it might be the big coaster in 2007 or a campground?

back on topic Do you think PKI will redesign the SOB to make it feel a little better when you ride. Sure it would cost alot of money but it would save alot of money in the long run having a good coaster in the park that does not hurt so much. Mean Streak does hurt with breaks all over it. Don't sit in the front it hurts.

I just don't see the Addams Family coaster going to happen. The movie has been out for a long time and only the older people know about the movie. Its a great idea just it would be hard to get any voice actors for the ride. I see a big coaster in the year 2007 just not the Addams Family.

Any one have a picture of a Racer train running on SOB? Last time I heard something like this a friend tould me he saw a Bat train on Top Gun the day after the crash of one the trains. While I am not sure if The Bat is still around in train at PKI anyone know?

I didn't go into the pay experience, but did check out the 'free' area. It is, however, very accessible via the Las Vegas Monorail. Star Trek Experience is the first thing you come upon once exiting the Las Vegas Hilton Station. The Monorail was down the hole time while I was in Las Vegas you might what to check that out before you go.

Those that are old like me know to call The Beastie the Scooby Doo. I don't see getting a new name a big deal as long the coaster is still in the park.

The land around PKI is way to flat for a Ski Resort. Also I would rather have a ride than a hill of dirt

Its still their across from The Vortex exit and next to the bath rooms. Not sure why its still their they used for lasser tag and then just let it sit. This area would make a great spot for a good flat.

The Star Trek Experience is run down and very far out of the way unless you have a car. I would not go again it was a waste of my time. The Stratoshere is at the end of the strip the games are okay I did not go up to see the rides they charge for that also when I was their last Nov. The coaster at New York is about $7.00 a ride. Just have fun in Vegas

They where asking about the price of food in the park which is good they charge to much. I can leave the park and come back and still have payed less for what I would have got in the park. As for the themes most of them are already in PKI so I don't see anything other the Nick food area. Its just a food area with a theme with the same food all over the park they should lower the food alot more people would stay the hole day.

What theme parks have you been to other than PKI? I have been to Disneyland, DCA, Walt Disney World parks, SFKK, Kennywood, and others. I have been on alot of coasters out side of PKI alot are better and some are not.

I have been to Opryland as a child I went for two days. It was a very nice park its a shame its now a mall.

I ment the other kid coaster it looks like skates not sure of the name. It has been in the park before before it became a Six Flags park. Here is a picture
