Back in the day the longest wait for a coaster was 3 hours for The Beast and 2 hours for the King Cobra. So back in 1984 Kings Island only had 4 coasters for adults and one kiddie coaster. Not alot like today to pick from when you visit.

The only way you can get around the copy right is to not sell the DVD at all. So I will be more than happy to share the video on the web unless Paramount Parks gives me the okay. P.S. If we have a winter meeting with a TV and DVD player I will bring the video.

CP has a hybrid and so does PKI with AE. So Holiday World will have the longest hybrid coaster so what.

While I do have some old video of Kings Island and Winter Fest, I need a letter from Paramount Parks telling me that he can use the video. Paramount Parks still own the rights to all the video. They might still have the videos at Kings Island still in a box.

Why does it take till 12 to open White Water Canyon? Is PKI that short on staff or are they doing some kinda stafe check.

The reason the line is so long for Top Gun was you had to walk around the monorail station and then under that track. The Tunnel at the start of line was used for the monorail track. So when they took down the station the line just got alot bigger.

What about a Theme Park Review type of video. Not too sure people shooting video on coasters, but other than that you could make one.

Top Gun was red,black, and silver for its first few seaons, up until its first paint job (1996/97 or so?) Does anyone know where you can get a copy of the 25th video of The Beast I still have not saw the hole video. I own some of the clips like the frist person ride on The Beast and other older ride by video. Wonder why PKI does not sell the video and make some money on it?

Back them the park did not say to much just that a hanging coaster like The Bat was going to be in the park. Before Top Gun the only other rides in Wild Animal Habitat where Amazon Falls, King Cobra, and the monorail. The monorail only lasted two season with Paramount. Then later on Amazon Falls became Congo Falls and the rest of the land Action Zone. Also the colors for the coaster where going to be black and red. You can still see some red paint on the track in some areas that need to be repainted.

I do think its odd that people are starting to boycott the site. I really like to know why people are going. Don't worry I bet the others are still posting away on other pki fan sites with the same usernames. Frist PKIU and now PKIC whats next?

Why where the fireworks sitting next to the train track? I did not stay the hole night to see if they where shotting them off from their or are they for nights of fire?

I also went to the park today and rode the IJST 3 times. Also the coaster went down 3 times and before I left not all the effects where working so it looks like the staff has somethings to fix. I will post some pictures from a link when I get them back on Friday.

I just got back from the park and the Oktoberfest sign is gone along with the polls that held it up. So is Oktoberfest on its way out??

You're pretty much right, and we've developed a plan. From now on, if we see any terrible posts, we're going to remove them and insert a default admin quote saying that the post was eliminated due to a ToS violation. We're not going to be Nazis about it or anything, but posts that are blatantly ignorant or hard to read really have no place here. Its a shame that PKIC had a spell check before and someone took it out. Where is it now? Why does PKIC feel like PKIU with the post of spelling and things. Thats what I don't like about PKIC now it feels to much like PKIU.

PKI does have a Giant Frisbee. While back under giant they had video of Delirium being tested before it made its way to PKI. here is a link to the video.

PKI will never be or look like a disney park. For that to happen PKI would have to alot of flowers all the time and much better theming that cost more money. Now say if they make a ride with good AA's and not the cheap ones that where in PT sure its a start. Just wait PKI will tell use soon what or where the new ride will be or if a new ride will come? PKI already has a Hyper coaster.

I think Kings Island will have a van or bus to the hotel and back. Why would PKI put the monorails they have left back up? While taking a ride on SOB you can see two monorails sitting in the park, not sure if they work or Jungle Jim would have took them. Also Jungle Jims will reopen the Monorail soon.

I think PKI is ready for a small rocket coaster.

Is the bus driver working for Dip and Dots?

SOB needs new trains. Sure it can be done they might not look like a wooden coaster train, but I reather see a steel coaster train on SOB with alittle more leg room.

If Six Flags did buy Kings Island in the 1990s I bet it would have been sold to I don't know Paramount?

Paramount Parks have been spun off into a new division. The only good thing would HB land would be around longer and biger.
