Flume at CP= White Water Landing Flume at KI= Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal Both were really fun, family, water rides. I was very happy to get my daughters on WWL back in the fall of '05, especially since my youngest just turned 4. I miss them as well. It is difficult to find a water ride today that does not get you completely soaked to the bone. Now your going to get me started on the water rides again, man I wish they had some nice water rides out there that you could ride without getting soaked. I hate getting soaked, but I love old water rides, it's ok to get a little wet but really if I wanna get soaked I'd go to boomerang bay, funny I never new about wwl till it was gone, must have never paid attention on my way to the mean streak, I must have passed it donzens of times. Bring back the log flume, bring back gulliver's travel, bring back enchanted voyage. I love them rides

that is stupid, I like to go for a couple hours then come back a little later, what a pain when I spend all this money.

I think it's stupid you pay 45 bucks (if you don't have a pass) to get in, the idea being one price for the day instead of the old pay as you ride, then it should be free, I wouldn't ride it any way, that thing would freak me out, but I don't like the idea of one price admission then start charging you for rides in the park. I think if you're going to do that Cedar Point does it the best way. Have a separate park apart from the rest of the park where that kind of stuff is. Then you pay to get in that part, kind of like a water park.

When you use your season pass at Kings Island can you enter with it more than once a day or do you have to get your hand stamped for re entry like you do at Cedar Point. Also is there a limit to how many times you can scan the pass for parking, in other words can I leave and come back several time in one day with my parking pass?

When I went to Kings Island this morning, I went to guest services to get my hand stamped and they informed me that the Cedar Point pass would now scan at the gate. This must be the first day for this because when I went to the gate the attendant looked at a supervisor and said how do we do these and she said you have to got guest services and then the attendant said no wait, it scanned. This is nice not to have to full with this now.

Well I went to Kings Island today and things ended up being pretty painless. They took my ki parking voucher and upgraded to all ohio parking pass for and extra 40 dollars plus the refunded me my parking for today. They processed it on my Cedar Point max plus pass and swore up and down that it would work at Cedar Point too. I left the park and tried to re-enter with my season pass just to make sure it would work at Kings Island and it did. I will feel better when I go to cp next weekend and it works there to, but If it works at ki and it's a cp max pass I would thing it should. This came off without argument. At least it now works at KI, I think it will work at CP but truthfully I rarely pay for parking there anyway since I stay in the breakers but it will be more conveinient.

I think my spine still hurts from the last time I rode demon drop 2 years ago, It wracked by back up good, ouch! Still it was the first ride I ever rode at Cedar Point 10 years ago, it would be weird to think of it gone.

I agree, I've never been up ki on bring a friend days, but I can imagine it's something that would just jam pack the park and make me want to stay away.

Wow I don't know how mf could ever be boring, but I haven't got to ride the maverick yet, as it was not open when I went to CP a few weeks ago, but I'll certainly be riding it when I get there next weekend.

The Mean Streak is a great coaster, but man does it give me a splitting headache, and I don't often get headaches, it can be really rough at times.

And I checked yesterday there still is nothing that says that. This is what is says: A season-long parking permit will be issued for each Individual Season-Long Parking Pass purchased. This parking permit is valid at Paramount's Kings Island only for the 2007 season.

one of the things is that I bought my max pass as soon as they went on sale, I bought the ki parking pass, there was no all ohio pass at the time, ki parking pass was the only option so i bought, now what was the only option then, is no longer valid.

Just one more note on this. I emailed Kings Island back in october when I was buying my cp max pass and said I was going to do this and buy a ki parking pass, nowhere in the return letter did they tell me that I couldn't do this. I sent an email to: marketing@cedarfair.com and fumed, don't know if it will help things get better, but right now I'm totally disgusted.

Well I got my answer, I called and talked to somebody, and they told me I would have to get my ki parking pass refunded and put it towards a all ohio parking pass at Cedar Point, they said you can not have a Cedar Point max pass with Kings Island parking pass, I am certainly not going to get the all ohio pass because I stay at the breakers and get free parking up there, so it would be a waste of 40 extra dollars. I'm just going to get my pass refunded, and visit ki less than I was planning this summer, I am not paying 75 dollars for a parking pass to ki which is essentially what I'd be doing.

You know I don't even care if they overcharge for things, that doesn't bother me so much, what bothers me is buying something, and not getting it, that's like stealing if they don't give me my money back. And oh yeah, that Kings Island customer service is sensational, I emailed them tuesday about it and they still have not emailed me back, but I'm not surprised i've emailed their customer relations on multiple occassions and only once did I get a reply that was from Maureen.

I won't do that because I want the cool joe club benefits I paid for with my Cedar Point membership. This is all a joke, why can't they just put a stinkin' sticker on your card, when you order a parking pass it specifies nothing about what kind of pass you have to have, it simply state good for one parking permit for the 2007 operating season.

So are you tellling me that I can't have a Cedar Point max pass and a Kings Island parking pass?

it never surprised me that someone fell out, I felt like I was going to fall out of it, granted I rode it with a lunatic, and I know the person that fell out was acting right, but it freaked me out.

I haven't been to KI yet, I have my Cedar Point Max Plus Pass, but I only purchased the Ki Parking pass because when I go to Cedar Point I stay at the breakers and get free parking. I was wandering if there were any problems processing the ki parking pass with the Cedar Fair max pass, to they put the sticker on the pass, or car? how does it work? I emailed ki several days ago but as usual I have yet to get an answer. Anyone else go this route?

I think landscaping may be the wrong word. Maybe decor, i'm not sure. It's more than just flowers and trees to me it's how you decorate the park. Fountains, bridges, entrances to different areas, fences, gates, lakes, rivers, streams all of these things, that I think have declined since the 80's, and oh yeah I'm not a big fan of hollywood so i'm sick of movie poster decor. I miss the old amusement park/non advertising of a product feel that was here before paramount.

Yeah, thanks for knocking Park Services and Landscaping and assuming we don't try our hardest to make the park look nice. Not to mention you just put the guys who re-decorated the water park (which looked like crap even BEFORE Paramount bought the parks), added the scenery on Tomb Raider and Flight of Fear and a few others, and decorated pretty much the entire park for FearFest to shame. But, then again, it's obvious that you don't come for the cleanliness of the park; you come for the Big Freakin' Massive Coasters of Awesomely Huge Bigness. Yes I love big coasters, but there is much more than that, one of my biggest complaints that I give of all parks is the lack non wild rides such as the antique cars and nice train rides in such I like a good variety so no I don't come just for the big coasters, example a is my recent thread on how I miss the old log flume rides.
