  1. Awww... Willie, you took mine. Well, since I do mostly closing shifts, I hear this one a lot. "Ladies and Gentlemen, at this time Paramount's King's Island rides and attractions are closed for the evening. We hope that you have a safe ride home and visit us again soon."
  2. Yeah, in case you didn't catch it before, my name's Ariel. I'm doing a swing on the 18th, but I'll be at Coney Island on the 19th.

Try what looks appealing... and if you can't see what it is, ride it anyways! Flight of Fear gets better with every ride for me, b/c I can't see where I'm going.
  4. Last year, I came as a gold pass holder to a ride early day on The Beast, I found a used condom on the floor by the q for the last seat.
  5. I'm doing a close on the 16th at Duhlee.
  6. How tall can u be? Height requirements are 54" or no taller than 6'4"
  7. I'm thinking... I don't know... probably a part of oktoberfest.
  8. That's basically it. We don't set the rules, we just enforce them, and we do it for your safety. And safety is our commitment...
  9. Eh, I went there last year on 5/3 day, and I did ride the ferris wheel, but there wasn't that long of a line when I went. Would you know a guy named Evan Pankuk that works the rides over there?
  10. Well, I'm going there on the 19th for 5th/3rd bank day with my friend, and we're probably going to ride everything there at least once, and chill out in the pool, of course. In my opinion, the Pepsi python really isnt as good as it's cracked up to be, last time I rode it, I sat in every seat, and it still hurt me. Knowing me, though, if given the chance, I'd still ride it just because it's a rollercoaster. My fav are: the super round up, the trabant, the flying bobs(backwards), and the bumper boats. I go to coney maybe once a year, so look out for me if ur working on the 19th.
  11. At least it's not Walnut Hills... We've lost almost every game.
  12. I agree with "Penguin"... there really isn't much to see where it says authorized personnel only (in sight of the visitor). just a bunch of dumpsters and people in blue and white shirts hangin out and buying food. although there are some old ride parts in front of pkiu that I found fascination in.
  13. I have another one. (this one happened today, too). I was doing unload at SDATHC when this kid yells to his dad, "Oooh, look, another villain!" , then begins to shoot at me. The dad leaned over to his son and said, "I don't think you can get extra points for shooting the ride attendant, here, let me try..." then he shot at me. Of course, as anyone who has ridden the ride knows, no harm was done. (that ride was extremely fun to work, just to let u guys know)
  14. FoF is definitely in my top faves- Nothing can be cooler (in pki, of course) than going from 0-60 in a matter of a couple seconds. Then getting shot into a really dark room where, after a while, you don't know which way is up. Gotta love LIM roller coasters!
  15. Definitely Scooby! What can be cooler than a dog who finds clues to a crime simply by hiding, running, or falling on them?
  16. I really want to get the tickets to see Al! I missed it last year... also, Isn't Trevor Morgan a child actor, around my age, acted in Jurassic Park 3, sixth sense, and a disney flick? I've heard of him, but I didn't know that he sang...
  17. sorry it's a day late... Happy Birthday Sparky! Hope u had a happy one!
  18. Last night and the night before, I got sent to Express to finish my closing shift. As usual, after we finish operating the ride, we have to clean the q's and do garbage. I must say, I have never seen that many cigarette butts ever in a q line. I must have picked up at least 30. I also noticed that the butts stopped right when the line came into the station. There were butts everywhere else, but very few in the station, maybe because the ride ops are doin their jobs well or whatever, but someone should enforce the rule everywhere.
  19. Unfourtunately, that happens all the time. I hate it when we have to turn big people down, because they can't fit in the seat, but what else could we do?
  20. Q:What are Scooters? A:That's just another name for the "Flying Eagles" located next to Vortex.
  21. First ride pre-season was Slingshot.(What an awsome ride!) First ride of the season was recaR.
  22. I might go, as long as I'm not working. I like the idea, and 5 dollars sounds pretty reasonable.
  23. I think recaR opened at around 4:15. I did Racer for a while, until The Racer staff had enough people to run recaR too.
  24. You should have come back at the end of the day and ridden recaR. Not only was I checking seats for the exit side, but the lines were EXTREMELY short. Towards the end of the day, we sent out mostly empty trains.
  25. Dodgems are the bumper cars at pki. They are located near the antique cars.
