If I'm ever quiet, you know I'm scared... with the exception of Delerium... that one time I rode it, I was nearly in tears when I got off. Never again. Screaming is all a part of the ride experience. I mean, if early in the morning you pull up to the parking lot and you see that Invertigo is running, there's people ON it, and it's silent... Do you really want to wait an hour or longer for a ride that (as far as you've seen) no one was enjoying? Work those lungs! You'll feel better! deb

I am not a fan of being scared. I AM however a fan of coasters esp at night. I'd love to see "CarnEvil" turned into a "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" type attraction. Talk about losing your...cotton candy... lol. I'd love to see Don wrapped up and ready to be eaten. No worries, Don, I'll still laugh. And Ryan you'd be perfect wrapped up TOO! As far as SAW goes, all 4 were great and if it's #5 this year, I'll be there, too. Seen all 4 IN THE THEATER and own them all. 2 is my fav.

I've been riding The Beast since the 90s. Will always be a favorite of mine. I have ridden Sonny 2 times, first time was when it first opened and second was this past Saturday. That alone should tell you something. It was a great ride, but it doesn't compare to The Beast. deb

Yeah, it was a bit nippy to be in BB yesterday, same today I'd say. If you heard the ruckus at the exit... with the girl that had a huge burp that was us. I'm not the burper, either. deb

We took a trip to KI on Saturday and ride almost everything we didn't get to before. Started the day with a trip to BB, Just to go on Crocodile Run, The Rapids thingy, and "Tazzy". The Rapids were closed (darnit) and we got in the lazy river and boy was it cold! Then we went and got a drink armband, GOLD, got some cools offs (drinks) and then headed for taz to the tune of about 45 mins wait on the right line. I got to go down backwards (which I love!) and I think taz ate my contact. I went right contactless and didn't even know it, LOL! Went to conquer my fear of SoB. Stood in like for what seemed liked an eternity (1.5 hours to be exact) and then when really got up there I got some nerves. I was grouching that it was so long, didn't want to ride, etc.... but I conquered it anyways. And I loved it. Rode in the rear seat, front. I kept my eyes closed til we were almost going down the first drop. Then I enjoyed it, holding on so I didn't double over. It's no Beast, but it's great. The mid STOP messed with me... just before where the loop was.. and the loop area was kinda boring, but oh well. Got off SoB and went to see about Vortex. The line was ridiculous, out to the spot where the tattoo painting is. Here we went to BB and sold our key and got stuff and went to the car to eat. Timing was just right, cause the Full Throttle guy was there, and man, that stuff was delish! Went back in, got to take in drinks (that's NEW to me) and decided to go to the Crypt. It was closed. Back tracked and stopped at BLSC which we waited about 45 mins in line. Got the back. Nice ride. Walked over to FoF because it's been like 3 yrs since I'd ridden it. Wow, the theming was all on. Didn't care for FT COOPER in the queque, but whatever. great ride, I was paying attention to see where we were, instead of enjoying the ride. Flashback 2007, KIC Day! Checked Vortex line again as it was 8 something, still the same. We wanted a night ride on The Beast, so we went and got in line, and waited forever, really. Got in line at 8:30. Got our ride AFTER the fireworks, because everyone and their brother was there, and a lot of ppl had left. Some guy got escorted off the ride with his wife and child in tow. We made buddies with a couple that goes around doing promo stuff cause one of our friends could BURP like a man (she's not). LOL. We yelled obscenities on our beast ride. We were the loudest train. 4th after the all clear. Then we headed home. Had a great trip. Can't wait til next sat! deb

I thought all the ride ops were "on" this weekend.... on monster we got a fast ride (whhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeee) and they were hauling a$$ to get ppl in and out. They were def on their game. I got overheated waiting on both The Beast and The Vortex, and stress was low with the ops. great job guys! deb

Rode it last year, made me cry, I hated it. I don't like the feeling. deb EDIT: forgot to mention how icky looking the water was at typhoon on sat.... it was greenish..... which cut our ride out.

Ok, more pics. Forgot to mention on day one: they rode F/O and I got a night ride front seat on TOP GUN! \m/ and day 2! We went straight to the waterpark to drop off our stuff and go to some coasters.(somewhere in here we went the the waterpark and ate, got wet in the wave pool and decided to not ride the typhoon because the water looked funky) We rode the Crypt. Then the Fairly Odd Coaster. The Viking Ship, Waited for and hour and a half for Firehawk, Zephyr, then as is turned night went to The Beast, then hit Vortex (was pitch black) and Monster and got the FINAL ride on the scrambler. yay! So we decided to go to KI again this weekend. We got there at about 2 on Friday afternoon. Went straight for Drop Zone. Took a friend who cried.. made me feel bad so I promised a ride on Vortex with her. Took off to the waterpark to chill.... Rode the rapids ride (can never remember the name), then went to lay by the pool as the the lines for the Croc Run were crazy long. Decided I needed sustenance and my meds were due so my friend and I left to go to the truck leaving hubby in the waterpark for apparently too long (he thought we'd left him, we ate and had to tell 2 "drunk" guys to go away). Got back at about 6 ish and decided to ride some coasters. My friend and I stopped at Avatar and rode it before catching up with hubby. Then we went to BLSC, had a blast! So I promised to ride Vortex and we made it the last ride of the night... and I LOVED IT. It was so much fun! Here's a couple more pics, then I'll post again with more pics! I'm sticking with Mustang. darn car (sorry bout the language, I LOATHE that F-word) but I think it'll stick with the rivertown western theme. deb

In another thread I said Moccasin (as in Water), and hubby says Mustang. I like the Cobra. I think it's gonna be an amphibian related to the Ohio Area, 36 yrs in the making, etc. just my 2 cents. deb

I love this ride. I like the dark and all the theming. And yes keep your head back! 0-54 in 4.something seconds is FAST, it's over before you know it. I'm riding it tomorrow! deb

nope, neither. You saw me last year at the KICEvent. White shorts, white shirt with the knocked out boy by the chick with the wood with the nail in it. I just prefer to not be beaten up. that's all. deb

personally, I wish every coaster capable had restraints like BLST and FoF. I LOVE those, no pain, no shoes lost.... perfection. but that's just my opinion. deb
